Hyun Joong to Leave City Conquest

I am certain everyone must have read the article that  I re-tweeted on Twitter on the 31st of January regarding the problem with the producers of City Conquest and KBS.

Today, there is another news that came out from StarNews about Hyun Joong leaving the project altogether.

According to the Key East representative, Hyun Joong is already in discussions to leave City Conquest. This is to fulfill his other commitments like concert tours in Japan which is until March. Earlier, it was reported that City Conquest is to premier early this year on KBS.

But fret not, as according to Key East there is a plan for Hyun Joong is appear in TV series or movie later this year. They are in the process of reviewing various scripts.

As for the other stars were casted in the drama, I read that Jung Yoo Mi has already signed up to star in another drama.

Anyway, let's hope for the best of Hyun Joong. I am we will still see him in another drama.

Sometimes, we have heard of various news about having a short meeting (?) with KyuJong when (they) went to find KyuJong at the place where he works at.
Time flies at the same time goes slowly too.
Already this much time has passed by,
Looking at the balance of D-DAY at the homepage, it seems like there’s still a long way to go!
Everyone has this same feeling isn’t it?

Today, I will briefly show you the parcel which KyuJong sent,
As well as to let you know that KyuJong is doing well.

ThanKYU has been doing various charity works under the name of KyuJong & ThanKYU all these while, and KyuJong has participated in it together too.

He wanted to help in the charity work for knitting hats for infants
So he knitted the hats in his free time after work and sent it over to the office.
Even though we heard sometimes that he is knitting the hats^^ but having received them, made me imagine KyuJong’s look when knitting the hats with the knitting needle.
Indeed, he is our thoughtful star!

A total of 14 hats were sent today.
Various colors are pretty and he really knitted well. KyuJong said he has gotten help from his mother.^^
The hats will be delivered to ThanKYU who are doing the charity work, to be donated together with the rest.

Heart-warming artiste KyuJong and ThanKYU who always love and cherish KyuJong!

Hyun Joong to be In Brazil in February

For the 50th anniversary of Korean Immigration in Brazil, a concert entitled '2K13 Feel Korea' will be celebrated in Sao Paulo from February 23 to 25.

Though we still have to get confirmation from KeyEast, but according to this poster, Hyun Joong together with Ailee and more will be attending this event.

A set of photos were recently uploaded onto his official Facebook page along with the caption, “Flower? Beggar…“. In the photos, he sported messy hair, had dirt all over his face, and even wore worn-out clothing and had on gloves full of holes. He was holding a money can in one photo and pouting in the others, but also showed off bright smiles in other pictures.

He was parodying the popular ‘Gag Concert‘ segment, ‘Beggar’s Class‘, in which comedian Heo Kyung Hwan portrays a good looking beggar and is dubbed the ‘flower beggar’.

Upon seeing the photo, fans commented, “Beggars who look like that won’t ever starve…“, “He looks perfect even as a beggar“, and “He looks so cute!“.

[Article] Hyun Joong to Make a Comeback this Summer

Alright, there is enough time to water your money tree and go to Seoul this summer for Hyun Joong comeback.  Yes, you read it and it's in the news. Good news, right?

But, there is this one news that worries me though, read somewhere that KBS will not be getting 'City Conquest'.  So, with regard to this, we are all waiting. I hope we can hear good news soon regarding this drama.

[News] Kim Hyun Joong said to be making a comeback this summer

It has been revealed that Kim Hyun Joong will be making his long awaited comeback into the K-pop scene after two-and-a-half years this coming Summer!

A representative revealed, “Kim Hyun Joong is planning to make his comeback this coming summer and is currently in the production process. If there are no other issues, he will make his comeback as a singer this summer”, making this his first Korean comeback since the release of digital single, “Marry Me“, back in December 2011.

The singer is currently on his ‘Japan Tour 2013 – Unlimited‘ tour which will continue until early March, making stops at cities like Nagoya, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, and more.

Additional Concert Tours & Certified Gold for Hyun Joong

Good news to all Hyun Joong fans in Japan as there will be additional concert tours announced by Key East. This will be on the 3rd of March and it is going to be held at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo.

Hyun Joong's 'Japan Tour 2013 UNLIMITED' kicked off in Kobe on the 6th of January. Since then he had concert tours in Saitama, Nagoya, Shizuoka, and Miyagi with more than 40,000 fans in attendance. In March he is scheduled to tour Tokyo, Fukuoka and Osaka.

On top of this additional concert tour news, here is another good news. Hyun Joong‘s first full Japanese album that was released on the 12th of December entitled ‘UNLIMITED‘, has been certified “Gold” by the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

For an artist to be able to get certified gold, 100,000 units of the album must be sold.

With this, congratulation to Hyun Joong!

Kim Hyun Joong and Lee Jun Ki were recently selected by netizens as the most highly anticipated male stars of 2013.

Website Sevenedum recently conducted a poll with the title, “The most highly anticipated male stars of 2013″, and received a total of 5547 votes.

After all the votes were tallied, Kim Hyun Joong grabbed first place with 30% (1691 votes) while Lee Jun Ki trailed behind in 2nd place with 22% (1192 votes). Kim Soo Hyun came in 3rd (19%), Lee Seung Gi came in 4th (13%), Park Shi Hoo in 5th (8%), and Song Joong Ki came in 6th with 4%.

Kim Hyun Joong has become the representative ‘hallyu wave’ star in Korea as well as China, Japan, and other parts of Asia.
