As he promised fans during his Chengdu and Guangzhou fan meeting, Hyun Joong opened a Weibo account which he timed on his birthday. As his opening of account in Weibo spread like wildfire yesterday, Hyun Joong followers in one day summed up to 260,000 plus. This is more than the record set by Japanese AV star Aoi Sora and fellow Korean actor Jang Geun Suk.
Hyun Joong according to Key East decided to open a Weibo account to be able to reach his Chinese fans who do not have access to Facebook for news updates.
