Among the members I think he's the only one who can attract people's attention just by being ~ being himself, being there etc. So yeah, he doesn't need to do 'supercilious' MVs. But you are missing the point, his MVs' are showcasing him as an adult but you're only focusing on him showing his body. Some fans seem to prefer him being his younger self but the thing is, time doesn't stand still & he's getting older. He's very much aware of that so why shouldn't he act his age, being mature & grown-up? He's still the same hyunjoong, with his adorable 4D personality & the only difference is he doesn't play around too much like his younger self, at least in public.

Especially him, they like to box him in that time frame, don't they? So that they can still cling to the belief that the members are all equal in stature or their bond is unbreakable? The reality is he's already outgrown that immature phase & outpacing the others by leaps & bounds imo. So like it or not, he's following his own destiny & reaching for his dreams. Good for him & may he achieve his heart's desire. Do face the reality of it all, por favor.

ReplyDeleteHis preference for music and presentation is different from other group members. He prefers intense hiphop dance moves in his presentation; quite different from the what the group wanted. Their choreo has favoured the singing more than panting.
Also, can't imagine the whole group ripping up their shirts and jumping about while singing. (Naughty me)
Hyun Joong is just following his desires. Let him have it. He has worked hard to present the style he wants with a bonus of a body to flaunt it.
He will grow out of this stage eventually. It won't be soon though, I hope.
