News about BYJ's visit at the Presidential Office

Here's English news about the reported visit of Yong Joon at the Presidential Office. I've mixed feelings about this news.

It seems that Yong Joon will be very busy. Him being the Ambassador of Visiting Korea for 2010-2012, then he's a member of the Korean Cuisine Globalization and now this news though nothing is confirmed yet. Will he still have time to do projects for his fans? As earlier reported, he and Park Ji Young a.k.a. JYP will be collaborating with 'Dream High' early next year and this will surely entails lots of time though we are not sure if he'll be acting. But from what was reported he'll be definitely be on the background and JYP will be in-charge of the songs and dance. And what about 'Drops of God' which has been pushed to 2010? I hope that he'll have time for these as well as his love life. ^^

Actor Bae Yong-joon

Actor Bae Yong-joon visited Cheong Wa Dae on Tuesday, reportedly meeting spokesman Lee Dong-kwan and deputy spokeswoman Kim Eun-hye, and many at the presidential office itself were curious why.

One official at the presidential office said the visit might have something to do with President Lee Myung-bak's visit to Japan this coming Sunday. Bae is an extremely popular figure in Japan, especially among women, and runs a traditional Korean restaurant in Tokyo. That leads to speculation that Bae might be given some role in one of Lee's projects, to make Korean food more popular abroad.

"It's true that Cheong Wa Dae is planning something to do with Bae during the president's visit to Japan, but for protocol reasons nothing has been finalized," another official at Cheong Wa Dae said.

Bae Yong Joon visited the Exec Office

Yup it's in the news that Bae Yong Joon visited the Executive Office of the President yesterday, June 23 [yesterday]. He had a meeting with the President and the President's staff in conjunction with the Korean Food Globalization project.

It's in the news too that South Korea's President is scheduled to visit Japan on June 28th. The news also mentioned that the President is planning to visit Gosireh [Bae Yong Joon's Korean restaurant in Tokyo] while he is in Japan.
