[Article] Jung Min Cautions in Speaking About SS501 Future Plans

There are so many article about Jung Min that can be found in Naver and Daum regarding his most recent activities in Japan for the ROMEO 2nd Contact. The articles talk so much about his performance in EBISU LIQUIDROOM in Tokyo, his plan for his October activities in Korea, he talked about Kyu Jong and the supposed plans of SS501 to reunite (which other members talked about as well after Kyu Jong enlisted for his mandatory military requirement).

Ok, hold your horses! We all know that reunion will not happen anytime soon because of each member's commitment as a solo artist and their impending mandatory military duty in which Kyu Jong already went ahead of the others. But the members have talked about this and they even mentioned this in several of their individual interviews. No matter what other say, certified TS certainly wait for this time to happen, right? And I believe that what they promised before they went solo is not an empty promise.

Here is an article I lifted from OhKPop.com that came out yesterday together with  tons of articles about Jung Min.  Much thanks to veggiedelight for the tip.

Btw, this article may elicit different reactionstfrom fans. I am already cautioning everyone to please keep this post at peace. Otherwise... ^-^ I really hope that no one would start giving negative comments that would brew into not so good discussions.    Let's keep it calm, let's wait, and just see how things will be in the future. There is nothing to lose, yah?

[Article] SS501 Had a Meeting to Reunite the Group?
Lifted from OhKPop

Will SS501, the idol group that use to have five members, be able to reunite? After their contract terminated with DSP Media in 2010, each member signed with different entertainment agencies and have all been doing their own thing. Recently however, the rumors of the reunification of Kim Hyun Joong, Park Jung Min, Kim Hyung Jun, Heo Young Saeng, and Kim Kyu Jong have been drawing attention in the music industry.

After leaving DSP Media, the members of SS501 all stated clearly that they were not breaking up. Last August, it has been reported that the members discussed hopeful thoughts of a reunification when they all met before Kim Kyu Jong left for the Korean military. Just like the legendary group ShinHwa, SS501 is drawing attention as they are showing hopes of reuniting after years of separation.

Park Jung Min expressed his careful thoughts of a reunification during an interview with eNEWS after his showcase of “Give Me Your Heart” in Tokyo, which followed his official Japanese debut. Park Jung Min stated, “It’s true that all the members got together before Kyu Jong left for the military. As we all emphasized before, we never broke up so all of us have continuing hopes of reuniting.”

However, Park Jung Min was careful in speaking about the details of possible future plans for SS501. Park Jung Min added, “There is a member who is in the military currently and the rest of the members are still under contract with different agencies so it’s very difficult to announce anything specific. However, just like the SS501 fans who have been hoping for a reunification, we the members, are thinking the same thing.”

SS501 debuted back in 2005. Within 5 years, SS501 released a total of 18 mini-albums and digital singles. The most popular hit songs include songs like, “Love Like This”, “U R Man”, “Love Ya”, “Promise to Promise” as well as soundtrack songs for the famous drama “Boys Over Flowers”.

After the contract with SS501 terminated, leader Kim Hyun Joong signed with Key East Entertainment which is the agency of Bae Yong Joon. Park Jung Min signed with A&R Entertainment, which is the company related with the international musical instrument company, Yamaha. Kim Kyu Jong and Heo Young Saeng joined B2M Entertainment wihle Kim Hyung Jun signed with S-Plus Entertainment.

[Article] As ROMEO, Park Jung Min Does Not Exist

Heaps of thanks to RoyalPJM for translation one of the earlier articles shared in different portal about Jung Min's ROMEO 2nd CONTACT in Japan.

Ei, it must be difficult for Jung Min not to smile on stage and be his usual self, right?  Anyway, kudos to JM.

SS501 Park Jung Min rebirth as ROMEO in Japan, he frankly said "When I am doing activities as ROMEO, to hide my original image, I felt restraint occasionally.”

On 29th September, Park Jung Min held a Live 'ROMEO 2ND CONTACT' for 777 fans in Tokyo's Ebisu Live House Liquid Room. That day, Park Jung Min did not spoke any words, he stayed mysterious and sexily, performing for the fans which captured their hearts.

A unique 'dark' concept was used for the live performance. During the interview with the reporters on the day of performance, Park Jung Min expressed that "In Japan, I do activities under the name of ROMEO. The attitude presented on the stage is indeed ROMEO. The original Park Jung Min does not exist on the stage."

He smiled and continued "When I went up the stage, the so-called Park Jung Min feeling is completely switched off. Instead, when I came down from the stage, I’ll turn back to my original self like now, the chattering and cheerful personality."

During the Live, to express the man's heart which was injured by love, you must look as if you want to be compensated in general, and show a painful expression and gesture. This is once again proven his strength after musical ‘Grease’.

He added "The fans in Japan saw the differences between Jung Min and ROMEO. When I am performing earnestly on the stage, the fans at the front row did some strange facial expression and fidgeted. When I faced with that situation, it was very hard for me to hold back my laughter."

[Pix] ROMEO Smudgy Look... Music with Sadness & Passion

Visual director Noriyuki Tanaka who worked with Jung Min for ROMEO mentioned in one interviewe that 'This project is to release ROMEO himself. Girls who like Jung Min do not count only on his outlook, but certainly like the other side of his in their hearts...Girls do not only like a person with the charm of a prince, but also a mysterious man. (We) wanted to show this aspect to his fans, (fans) please continue support (Jung Min in this way).'

With this, I think we now know a bit why we see Jung Min wearing this smudge mascara for ROMEO and why such concept was made for this album.

With this dark concept of ROMEO, music director, Jeff Miyahara said that ROMEO will be taking us to a world of heartbeat of rock and roll and will feel his sound with sadness and passion.

[Trans] The second personality of Park Jung Min, rookie ROMEO rules the world and debut in Japan.

Since debuted in 2005, Park Jung Min (who stopped activities at this moment) gained popularity and won a number of music awards, and won the ''Rookie award'' of ''22nd Gold Disc award'' in 2008 in Japan. He cooperated with two top Japanese producers and was going to release the first single ''Give Me Your Heart'' on the 5th September in Japan with the image of ROMEO. ROMEO invited 444 fans to his showcase ''ROMEO 1st Contact'' in Shinjuku BLAZE.

Asian HANA is going to provide you some details in the Showcase.

After showing some mysterious videos, ROMEO appeared on the stage finally. He led 6 dancers to perform powerful and sexy songs: ''Give me Your Heart'' and ''Tonight's the Night'', which will be released on the 5th September and the 31st October respectively.

Besides, the showcase also showed video messages from the music producer Jeff Miyahara, the visual producer Noriyuki Tanaka and the music reviewer Reiko Yukawa.

Jeff Miyahara said, ''Park Jung Min unknowingly brings the heartbeat of your rock and roll sense, so that you feel this is a story with sound, sadness, passion, taking you into the ROMEO world naturally.''

Noriyuki Tanaka also commented, ''Things are relative but also go beyond the limits. I think Jung Min can understand this part of ROMEO when he was promoting 'Not Alone'. This project is to release ROMEO himself. Girls who like Jung Min do not count only on his outlook, but certainly like the other side of his in their hearts...Girls do not only like a person with the charm of a prince, but also a mysterious man. (We) wanted to show this aspect to his fans, (fans) please continue support (Jung Min in this way).''

Reiko Yukawa, who claimed to be the ''Grandmother of Jung Min'' and promised to protect Jung Min, praised, ''At first, as a fan of Jung Min, I was quite confusing for the difference between Park Jung Min and ROMEO. If Park Jung Min cannot express the content with his mother language and English, he can use ROMEO to express this in Japanese in a dramatic way. Maybe this is another kind of international market. This is also the dream of the “grandmother'' (Laughter). Maybe ROMEO could be the male god of Asia, or perhaps there would be more homosexual fans of Jung Min. ROMEO can create a world of Lady Gaga, the male version of Lady Gaga.''

(ROMEO) faced the media with a mysterious expression without a word in the photo taking session.

To celebrate ROMEO’s debut in Japan, Park Jung Min appeared on stage. ''Hello, I'm Park Jung Min. Actually I heard that there was someone who is similar to me in Korea, and I was quite angry. So, I want to confirm it by coming here. But I was so sleepy suddenly, and I woke up and was already so late. Eh? (ROMEO) has already gone? Impossible! That, that lad! ROMEO and Jung Min are two different persons, so please pay attention!'' This led to laughter in the media session. MC Yumi asked, ''ROMEO is a very charming person. What do you think about it?'' ''Really? I heard that he is a cool artist who composes music. Although he looks the same as Jung Min, his make up is too heavy, isn’t it?'' Park Jung Min replied. He stressed on the difference of the two personalities, which led to laughter again.

''Jung Min and ROMEO, who do you think is handsomer?'' Park Jung Min asked MC Yumi. Yumi replied, ''ROMEO! He let us see his stomach indistinctly!'' ''I cannot do this!!'' Jung Min feigned ignorance. He was also asked, ''Fondant Garden will be aired on the 4th August. What do you think about it?'' ''It was so tough, but I had gained a lot of experience, I'm so happy with that'' Jung Min replied.

He also talked about his plan later ''In Korea, filming drama and movie are in my plan, so I'm considering them seriously. For the singer aspect, I wanted to explore the market of the whole world. There will be a fan meeting in Japan, which will be held in December every year.'' He continued, ''Park Jung Min will work hard to be a singer and an actor. Please give me your full support!'' "I want to sleep again so I’d better leave now'' he kidded and left the stage.

The ringtone of first single of ROMEO ''Give Me Your Heart'' has been released already. There will be the first Japan tour in Tokyo and Osaka in Japan. We will be able to see ROMEO and Jung Min for his activities later on.

So called ROMEO---
This is the subliminal personality of Park Jung Min, maybe like a superman who lives inside Jung Min (an intelligent life form). ROMEO is also a concept, which Park Jung Min wants to convey: cannot suppress the excitement and wakes up during the mid-night, but vanishes in the sun.

[Vid] Jung Min Video Greeting

On the 19th of July k-fan.meチャンネル uploaded in their YouTube, kfm9638 channel, video greeting of Jung Min in relation to ROMEO.

Here is the video of Jung Min who I may say speak Japanese nicely.  I there is any English translation available, may I please ask anyone to give us tip?  Much thanks!

ROMEO was launched in in Shinjuku, Tokyo BLAZE last July 12 with 444 lucky fans. Jung Min 'Give Me You Heart' 1st Japanese single from ROMEO ranked 8th in the Daily Chaku-Uta Rekochoku music download store for smartphones. Not bad when the song is not yet official out CD form.

[Article] Jung Min and ROMEO in Tokyo

Before I end the night, let me share with you another translated news about Jung Min with regard to ROMEO.

Loads of thanks to everyone who did the translation particularly to @charismajo  of PJM Internation Fan Club for the English translation since majority of my visitors are English speaking fans. Without charismajo's translation, English speaking fans of Jung Min will probably still be lurking in the dark as to what ROMEO is. Thumbs up to charismajo!

Korean group SS501's Park Jung Min (25) debuted in Japan as a rookie singer ROMEO, and held ''ROMEO 1st CONTACT'' on the 12th in Tokyo.

Jung Min, with the help of two Japanese creative directors, finished the first single ''Give Me Your Heart'', which will be released on the 5th September using the name ROMEO.

ROMEO sang his first single ''Tonight's the Night'' (will be released on 31st October) to 444 fans who won the lottery and bought platinum tickets. Different from the usual Jung Min, ROMEO wore a black jacket and was coquettish. His performance attracted all the audience.

ROMEO was set to be the subliminal character of Jung Min, who woke up while Jung Min was asleep.

After ROMEO performed, Jung Min showed up wearing white t-shirt and black jeans, and greet with fluent Japanese ''(I) Heard that there is someone who imitates Jung Min, (that is why) I came here''. ''Although I want to meet ROMEO, I felt very sleepy and slept on the car'' he said sadly. ''ROMEO has already gone? This is impossible. Please don't be fooled as he is different with Park Jung Min. Although he looks the same as Jung Min, his make up is heavy!'' he continued with laughters.

Yesterday hot-korea.com released their report on Jung Min's showcase last July 12 at BLAZE Shinjuku, Tokyo.

The report is another lengthy one  which i hope again there will be translation that you may read HERE (in Japanese). One of the things from the article is worth mentioning here is that he said that there are quite a lot of acting offers for him in Korea. He also mentioned about 'Fondant Garden' being shown in Japan in August via DATV.

There are more than 50 photos shared in the portal which I am sharing here as well. but I will be showing to you first the photos of Jung Min in blue Peanuts Gang shirt and maroon fedora hat since there was no photo of him  from the previous photos that we have seen him wearing such attire.

And here are more photos of what we have seen earlier but this time it's from hot-korea.com.
