I am sharing here more photos of Hyun Joong from the October 4 'City Conquest' event held at Budokan with 10,000 adoring fans attending. The was covered by hundreds of media outlets.

Hyun Joong and the casts of 'City Conquest' held a very successful event last night at Budokan where in Hyun Joong even sang songs to fans with a live band. The event was said to have been attended by 10,000 fans and lots of media reps.

Today, in some portals it has already been confirmed that 'City Conquest' will be broadcast over at KBS2 early next year. The drama which is directed by Yang Yun Ho and written by Hwang Jun Ha tandem for this 20 episode drama.

The press conference at Budokan ended and many fans are happy again because they were able to see Hyun Joong on stage. As for us fans not in Japan, we are so grateful for the live updates in Twitter and Weibo. Super thanks to everyone for doing this.

and.... HJ said the character he plays is someone with a very hard and painful life~
HJ: in my mind, i remember dressing up in woman's clothes during a concert back in 2005. it's been a long time since i last dressed up as a woman. it's a rather big sacrifice for the drama... oh well, so long as everyone enjoys watching it... everyone, do look forward to it.
emcee asked Jung Yumi and PD about their views regarding HJ dressed up as a woman. HJ got somewhat shy (embarrassed?) as he was listening...
Yumi: there were many fans around during the filming, but he wasnt affected nor got embarrassed and carried out his acting. (bb: the chinese characters didnt appear properly here, so i cant translate... ^.^;)
PD: i already thought he'a really very good-looking man when we first met. after some contact, i feel he's very masculine... and after drinking with him, i feel he has a good personality and is very humorous! (i too wanna drink with leader!!)
Q: What's the highlight of this drama? HJ: ... A lot of effort was put into filming the kissing scenes...
seems like the sneaks of the drama hinted that there's more than just kissing in that boat scene... (rock the boat, baby, lol!)

ended.... he'd always give 90-degree bow at the end, each and every time without fail. am always touched whenever i see him do this.
the singing segment was fabulous tonight. a little different from the previous times. he even sang a song that he'd never sung live before. the emcee said this when everyone's leaving the hall, 'it's raining outside.'

during the last segment of Lucky Guy encore, it's different from the past. it's really fantastic and everyone enjoyed it to the max.
at the part "every body, every every body, move your body, move move your body...', HJ must have sung it to us at least 20-over times.
he even made the gesture of 'shhhhh....' to quiet everyone. he then lowered his voice and sang in a very soft voice, 'every...move...' and got everyone to sing in a similar manner. there's alot of fan interaction!
on bed scene....Jung Yumi: Is everyone upset? HJ: It's alright, it's just acting, acting.... never mind.
Jung Yumi also said quite abit towards the end. basically she had said tonight was fantastic, and she also felt sensed a strong realization that HJ is a singer (as well as an actor). earlier HJ had disappeared from the stage, so she asked, 'where did you go?' HJ: practise with the band. Yumi: what about later? where to next? HJ: practise with the band #^.^#
after a certain song, HJ asked, 'what time is it now? 9pm? The agreement with Budokan is till 9pm. gotta close at 9pm.'someone in the audience said, 'no such thing!'he gave a very hearty laugh and said, 'no such thing?' and went on to sing the next song....oh alright, go ahead and prank on us... ^o^
they also played a making clip, which included BTS.
they had shown how the actual filming was done for the action scene which was shown to us earlier. the combat scenex and all were all real.
there were also snippets of the cast talking. HJ had said that those seemingly dangerous actions and scenes ain't really so dangerous.
i (neko) feel he's comforting us and trying to assure us so that we dont worry. there was a scene where he was held up by ropes at the top of a building, it looked scary.
the clip ended with a kiss. and there was also a quick flash of a bed scene. shot from the outside through white see-through curtains. only captured from the neck up. he was on top of her and they were really close to each other. cant be sure if they're about to kiss or just looking into each other's eyes. jt was really a flash of a scene and raced past very quickly.had they deliberately ended both clips like this to bring everyone's emotions to a high?
SPOILER ALERT :(honeymoon bed scene on the boat...?) the couple was kindda shy initially and snuck looks at each other and their eyes met a few times... shyly...
then HJ suddenly leaned over to kiss JYM, and they separated... looked into each other's eyes and started kissing really passionately.
hee, read that HJ did well in this scene. well, what did i tell you? this chap specialises in (actual) sleeping scenes and kissing scenes, lol!
did you know some chinese fans nicknamed him 'vacuum cleaner kim'...? obvious why so, ya? (he sucks like one when he kisses... niiiiiiice!)
at the end of the event, emcee said at his count of 123, HJ, JYM and PD were to say City Conquest (in korean), and the fans would shout 'fighting!' then HJ said, 'City Conquest (in japanese) will do too.'so emcee counted 1-2-3, the trio said City Conquest. in japanese and the audience in the entire hall said in one voice, 'fighting!'

Hyun Joong left S Korea via Gimpo Airport with fans surrounding as he went to Japan for 'City Conquest' press conference tomorrow at Budokan. Hours after, he arrived Haneda with Jeong Yu Mi where many fans gathered again to welcome them.
There have been quite a number of photos shared on Twitter but they are not in good quality. I will just share this one photo of Hyun Joong from Gimpo courtesy of the tweet of @khjbelinda.
Tomorrow the 4th will be 'City Conquest' Press Conference in Budokan. The press conference will be large-scale with about 16,000 Japanese fans along with an estimated 400 reporters from media outlet such as NHK, TBS, Fuji TV.
According to this news I read fromenews24 that Hyun Joong, Jeong Yu Mi and those who will be involved in the presscon will leave Gimpo this afternoon (5PM) and fly to Japan for tomorrow's big event.
From the same article above, It was mentioned that 'City Conquest' will be shown over KBS2. We can expect the drama by 2nd half of 2012 (corrected by earlier post. that means from now until dec)
With this news out, I believe we will be seeing lots of media photos of Hyun Joong later taken at Gimpo Airport as well as fancams and photos of his arrival in Japan.
I shared HERE last September 20, few details about the Premium Event for 'City Conquest' in Japan sometime in January. But before that, on the 4th of October there is something that all fans of Hyun Joong must look forward to and that is a press conference for City Conquest in Japan.

[News] Kim Hyun Joong’s ‘City Conquest’ press conference expected to draw 16,000 fans in Japan

The upcoming drama ‘City Conquest‘ is scheduled to hold a press conference in Japan.
Scheduled for 7PM on October 4th at Japan’s famous venue, Budokan, the large-scale showcase event will host nearly 16,000 Japanese fans along with an estimated 400 reporters from media outlets such as NHK, TBS, and FujiTV.
In particular, television station NHK has assigned a ‘documentary team’ just for the drama, proving that the drama starring Kim Hyun Joong is attracting considerable attention.
The press conference will include appearances by Kim Hyun Joong himself, co-star Jung Yu Mi, and other drama representatives. Special promotional footage will also be revealed during the event.
In addition, the showcase event will also include the 1 year anniversary celebration of Kim Hyun Joong’s fan club.
Meanwhile, the upcoming press conference is prospected to help ‘warm up’ the currently chilly relationship between South Korea and Japan, all the while playing a part in further spreading Hallyu culture.
Since the start of the filming of 'City Conquest' in Japan that started in July, the production team of the upcoming drama that stars Kim Hyun Joong and Jung Yoo Mi has been releasing photos from the shooting almost every week.
Today, another photo has been released with Hyun Joong driving a small truck with liquor cases at the back and looking melancholy. This scene was also shot in Japan.
When Hyun Joong started acting on the small screen, he had played roles of a rich guy who dresses up so well and drives hot cars. It is the first time we are seeing him driving a truck and wearing simple long sleeves tee and disheveled hair.
It looks like in 'City Conquest' we will be seeing several different images of Hyun Joong.
'City Conquest' is still currently being filmed. The production team, Hyun Joong and other actors will be going to several countries for filming. According to earlier news, the filming is expected to take place all over the world
including the U.S., China, Singapore, Myanmar, Switzerland and more.
As filming for the drama progresses, we still await for news as to where the drama will broadcast. While we wait for the news, I read that 'City Conquest' is set to have the very first preview shown in Japan soon.
A photo of Hyun Joong emotionally embracing Jung Yu Mi was released today by the production team of 'City Conquest'. Below photo was shot in Japan in July.
According to KeyEast, Hyun Joong in this scene was able to perfectly emote the concern, sadness and pain while embracing Jung Yu Min, who plays as his lover in the upcoming drama.
'City Conquest' is a production by the same production team as 'IRIS' which Lee Byung Hun starred in. It is an action drama based on a popular cartoon series.
Another set of photos from the filming site of soon to be seen 'City Conquest' have been released and which can be seen in many entertainment portals.
The photos was shot in Japan where in Hyun Joong as Baek Mir, Jung YuMi playing the role of Lee Dan Bi and Park Hyo Jun who is acting as Park Kwang Ya best friend of Baek Mir are having fun at an inzakaya (a restaurant providing food that goes well with drinks) and walking down in the streets cheerfully.
According to news reports, Park Hyo Jun's ad-libs at the filming during the drunk scene were so humorous that even the actors and staff had nonstop laughing.
'City Conquest' is set to be released either end of the year or early next year in which we still have to know which broadcast station the comeback in the small screen of Hyun Joong will be shown.
KeyEast released another photo of Hyun Joong from the shooting site of 'City Conquest' in Japan.
Below photo shows Hyun Joong intensely checking the monitor of the scene in which he just filmed. According to one of the staff from the production, Hyun Joong always pays extra attention to his acting and keeps on practicing his action scenes with the opposite actors before each filming.
Up to this writing, there is still no news which broadcast station we will watch 'City Conquest' as the producer are still negotiating with the broadcasting firms.
Ei, a romantic still from 'City Conquest' was released today. The photo shows Hyun Joong smiling and giving a back hug to Jung Yoo Mi who looks innocent and very at ease.
To date, the drama still has to find a time-slot and broadcast station. For now all we know is that the drama aims to air by end of 2012 or early 2013.
