I'm actually debating whether to make a post about this or not but since I'm also a fan of this group I might as well.

Tonight, rumor about SM Entertainment and 3 members of DBSK namely, Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun who requested for a deposition requesting SM Entertainment to release them from their contract of 13 years is all over the new. This news is now the top search in any Korean portals. The lawyer of the 3 members made several statement today and from what I read the situation is not good.

- seems like a negotiation has been going on between SM and the 3 members for 2 months to remove the 'non-exclusivity clause' in their contract but they weren't able to settle any agreement.

- main reason of the 3 members for wanting to leave is the slave contract [examples of slave contract, an artiste has to first seek approval from their company before being able to go overseas (iHQ). An artiste must notify their company their present location at anytime of asking (Olive9, Fantom). An artiste lifestyle including companionship, schooling, citizenship, military enlistment, making friends, economic activities, socializing events, transportation will have to be consulted with the company (JYP Entertainment) in advance which interferes with a person’s personal life.]

- there was also a mention of the split in the earning with SM getting the a HUGE chunk of the pie [geez, 8:2!!! unbelievable! with the 2 to be divided to the 5 members]

Geez, it seems that it's happening again. There was H.O.T. before then Shinwha.

Btw, I also read something about cosmetic [CreaBeau a Chinese product] thing but this is not clear to me yet.

With this news fans are worried about DBSK breaking up. =( It was said that later [probably this weekend] Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun will be releasing their statement.

Aahh, i'm pretty sure this event is very stressful to the fans. And I remember SS501 whose contract is expiring next year.

Could Jae Joong, Micky and Hyun Joong seeing each other often something to do with the problem of JJ? I cannot help but think.

p.s. Late last year SM Ent together wit some other ent companies were on the news regarding slave contract. Early this year, LSM [president of SM] was in the news again regarding the company getting out of the red line. Now comes this news. I believe that DBSK is SM's top earner.

p.p.s. The two other members ChangMin and YunHo were just in the news this week. The news about them is that both will be doing drama soon. YunHo's drama will broadcast in September and he will be with Ko Ara. And in the rumor mill, ChangMin and YunHo are said to be staying with DBSK if things really get ugly.

But you know what? For so long the contract is binding all members must comply with it.

SM Ent statement after they had a board meeting tonight. "TVXQ is a band that represents Asia, TVXQ absolutely must continue actitivies." In addition, "The cosmetics company issue, will be resolved." [AllKPop]

See, the contract is still binding, but they're not out of the woods yet. This will surely have some effect on SM's stocks.

The boys 2nd Japanese Album entitled 'All My Life' will be released on the 13th of May. Their 1st Japanese album 'SS501' was released on October 24, 2007 which included 'Kokoro' and 'Distance'. But 'Kokoro' and 'Distance' were first released as single. Both landed in the #5 spot in Oricon Chart in August and September 2007, respectively. When their album 'SS501' was released in Japan in October, it landed #8 on Oricon Chart.

TVXQ's New Japanese Single Album

Saw this MV yesterday and oh I like the sound of this one though the MV is not that great [no dancing and no effects] as compared to their other MVs. ^^

This is the new Japanese MV of TVXQ which was released yesterday. The title of this song is 'Share the World'.



The single album will be released on the 22nd of April and is opening and closing song of the anime entitled 'One Piece'.

Btw, Jae Joong as always is so handsome and Xian is looking so cute here.

SS501 Mode

I'm on vacation now and nothing much to do at home. Since the other night I am busying myself watching videos of SS501 and I realized just how I miss the boys.

Anyway, I was just browsing you tube and found some interesting videos from their debut.



I like the boys interpretation of BoyZone's 'No Matter What'. They're pronunciation is quite good too especially Kim Hyun Joong who doesn't want to speak English back then. Well, as for Kim Hyung Joon, i don't think he was worried a bit because he lived for a while in Australia. I was watching last night their video practicing this song where Young Saeng was memorizing his lines.



Park Jung Min is always so funny and talkative. I guess his stint VJing helped a lot. Kim Hyung Joon also always makes me laugh. He and Jung Min look quite feminine and I always like seeing them bickering.

Amongst the 5 members, Kim Kyo Jong is what I always think as the nicest and most shy. In 'Thank You for Waking Me Up' even Park Kyung Lim's mom seemed to like him because he's the only member who consistently wakes up early whenever PKL is around. He must really be a light sleeper. Ahh, too bad that he doesn't like dogs... he's my complete opposite because I love dogs.

Heo Young Saeng is I think the 'voice' in the group [2nd is Hyung Joon]. Love hearing his smooth voice. Though he may look shy and reserved [he's so careful about his personality], I think that he's one person with so many antics under his sleeves.

Finally, Kim Hyun Joong. He always cracks me up with his comments. I love love how he made up those stories about the veggies, fish, water in 'Thank You for Waking Me Up' and 'Thank You for Raising Me Up'. PKL can't help but to always balled out whenever Hyun Joong opens his mouth and talk. Hee, i think that even PKL's mom find him so funny. But one thing I noticed about him and his group members is, despite always being funny [like you can't take him seriously], the other members listen to him well.

p.s. i'm also in a bit of DBSK mode ^^. I learned yesterday that they will be having a 2 night concert at Tokyo Dome on July 4 and 5. Tokyo Dome i believe can accommodate 55,000. To think that they are foreighers...Wow! Tokyo Dome has also hosted concerts for many famous foreign artists such as Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi, Britney Spears, U2, Michael Jackson, Madonna and Aerosmith. Goodluck to DBSK! Let's see all Cassiopeias gather together.
