[Full Vid] Fondant Garden EP 6 03.30.12

I was able to watch EP6 of 'Fondant Garden' last night but wasn't able to finish the whole episode.  It's only now that I am watching the scenes that I missed including the preview for next episode and BTS.  After watching things that I missed last night I will then be watching the full episode again this time with English subs which is now available in Viki.  You may click HERE to watch.

Though the English subs is already available, I will still be shoving here the full episode without subtitles as the quality of the video is really good.  Much thanks to
for the upload in YouTube.

In today's posting, I won't be able to give  rundown of scenes that I like as I was not really concentrating much while watching because I was doing some other things. But the scene that Jung Min hurt himself with the cactus and while MiEn was attending to his hand caught my attention for a while.  Had to laugh and give myself some time to distress watching that scene.

Now go and watch episode of EP 6.  Have fun watching!

[Full Vid] Fondant Garden EP5 03.23.12

As mentioned last week, there are going to be revelations in this week's episode. One of which is that Xian Han (Jung Min) did not have a memory lost and this was only revealed to Han Xian (Kingone). The second is that Xi Huan learned the lies of MiEn (Jian Man Shu) and AiLin. But then Xi Huan can't stop MiEn because he himself is lying about his memory lost.

I am so happy to watch 'Fondant Garden' again last night @blancbelle she was online again to give me tidbits of info about the drama. Her tweets helped me a lot to understand it. Much thanks Belle!

Episode 5 with English subs is not available at ViKi you may click HERE .

There were only few scenes that made me laugh tonight but I had a real good laugh watching them. I really like the staircase scene from beginning to end. Starting off when Jung Min was standing like a soldier with a mop in had, taking off the gum that was stuck in his shoes, cleaning the entire staircase and letting the customers take the long way out. Really hilarious. There were other scenes that made smile but won't give details anymore. I just would like to comment that scenes in which Jung Min is hilarious/funnay are so much Jung Min himself.

Other scenes that I like are scenes in which Jung Min is showing showing his versatility in acting. He is really good at changing his facial expression in a snap and expressing his eyes in various acting. You could very well see that in many of the scenes in this episode so I won't keep you long and let you watch the videos below. Much thanks to MyEntertainmentHall for providing the full episode in YouTube.

If you can't view the video from MyEntertainmentHall You may check the other video I put at the end of this post. Thanks to Anonymous for the tip on the comment box.

In the BTS last night, you'll be seeing the beach scene and a bit of the pillow fight.

[Full Vid] Fondant Garden EP 4 03.16.12

In last night's episode of 'Fondant Garden' I really had a good time laughing in many scenes of XiHuan (Jung Min) and MiEn (Jian Man Shu). What's good about watching it too was that @blancbelle gave some tidbits about drama on Twitter. Thanks much blancbelle!

Fondant Garden episode 4 with English subtitles is now available in Viki you may click HERE to watch. You may also watch episode 4 with NO subtitles below.

Before you go and watch you might want to bear with me a little OR you may skip this post if you wish to. I am just going to give you little reading and share with you tidbits of my favorite parts and a very short summation on some scenes from episode 4.
  • The beach scene. I really like how the director made use of still shots to show the splashing of water between XiHuan and MiEn. But before the still shot, I like how Jung Min used his foot to splash water to Jian Man Shu.
  • I also like the last scene at the beach when XiHuan pushed MiEn on the big rock. From being mischievous, I like how Jung Min changed his expression to serious. The way XiHuan looked at MiEn is so romantic.

Video courtesy of 's YouTube channel
  • Best scene for this episode for me is the 'bed scene' that includes the pillow fight. First pillow fights was so funny and natural. Jung Min's long legs are so distracting too. They keep on showing from his robe.
  • The second pillow fight which happened after MiEn talked about when his dad died delivery a cake to customer was sweet. Jung Min was so hilarious when he spreads his arms and legs on the bed because he wants to sleep on the bed. Jian Man Shu is so cute pushing and fighting with Jung Min. She doesn't seem awkward and afraid of Jung Min's towering figure.
  • The breakfast. After sleeping 'together' in bed, MiEn woke up alone in bed. XiHuan is already about to have his breakfast. It was another cute scene when both were trying to hide their breakfast from one another. It was in this scene that MiEn decided to call XiHuan Sweet Potato ("HanJi" in Taiwan dialect).
  • After breakfast, both wrote a message on the message book of the restaurant. XiHuan wrote Sweet Potato likes this hotel & MiEn wrote she likes the ocean & will be back for visits. From the messages that they wrote, XiHuan circled the likes & drew arrows to each other's name which eventually created this message : MiEn likes Xihuan and XiHuan likes MiEn. Cute!
  • Souvenir photo. When you see this scene I am certain that it will leave a a big smile on your face.
  • Last but not the least, is the BTS which was recorded from the train. From beginning to end of the BTS I was smiling a the playfulness of Jung Min and Jian Man Shu. These two are really adorable.

And here is the very cute BTS from last night's episode.

Courtesy of

Thank you for reading. ^_^

Btw, I have said this early but I just want to say it once again, I am amazed at how Jung Min can shift his expression from being funny/mischievous to serious in a snap of a finger. He is good!

If you are having difficulty watching in Viki, here is video from YouTube courtesy of MyEntertainmentHall. But this one has NO English subs. Thanks to veggiedelight for the tip!

[News] ‘Fondant Garden’ Park Jung Min almost drowned, Jian Man Shu strong pillow-fight battle
Source: Yes Entertainment
English translation: RoyalPJM (royalpjm.wordpress.com)
Please repost with full credits.

Park Jung Min filming for sea scene but met with the cold weather. He and Jian Man Shu were soaked in the sea of only 10 degree Celsius for 5 hours and the scene almost became real and he nearly lost his life! Putting his idol burden aside, Park Jung Min ran on the beach, barefooted but his ankle got scratched by the reef and it bleed immediately which scares everyone around him. Jian Man Shu who is petite yet with a great strength had a pillow fight with Jung Min and her attack made Jung Min cry for mercy and help.

In order to film the drowning scene for idol drama ‘Fondant Garden’, male lead Park Jung Min almost made this scene real. The drama crew travelled as far away as Hualien’s ‘Necklace Gulf’ to film this scene but the weather did not gave face to the crew and it coincides with the cold weather. Even though Park Jung Min and Jian Man Shu wore windbreaker, they were still cold! In addition to the amazing loud sound the waves by the shore produced, Jian Man Shu who is always bold also had a face of nervousness. Park Jung Min who does not know how to swim fully displays a professionalism of an actor, hiding his tears with a smile and forced himself to finish the filming of this scene where he pretended to drown to scare the female lead.

They originally thought that the filming went smoothly, as they were about to knock off, a big wave hit the shore unexpectedly. The petite Jian Man Shu lost her balance and she fell on Park Jung Min, the wave also swamped over Jung Min who is lying by the shore. He immediately held his breathe but still got chocked after drinking a big gulp of the sea water. He panicky climbed up and shouted “I really almost drowned!” But the plot was to arrange for the both of them to have an ambiguous feeling towards each other quietly after the drowning scene. After the filming, Park Jung Min even ran into the sea barefooted however he did not pay attention to the reef and scratched his ankle, in addition to the immersion of the sea water which particularly stimulates his wound. But he was acting ultra-professional and still displaying a bright smile in front of the camera till the filming ends which he only find out that his foot was covered by his blood from the wound. The staffs rushed to dress his wound and it frightened everyone but Park Jung Min did not shout out for pain.

Even though the filming was hard, Park Jung Min and Jian Man Shu knows how to create fun in the midst of the filming, the playful Park Jung Min actually pulled up a lot of seaweed by the seaside and put on Jian Man Shu ‘s head and dressed her up as a seaweed version of ‘Lady Gaga’. This made Park Jung Min proud of his own artistic talent. Both Park Jung Min and Jian Man Shu are only having a year difference in terms of age and often bicker during filming. There was another scene whereby both of them film a ‘pillow-fighting’ scene in a guesthouse. They did not even need to follow the script and both of them dog eat dog and picked a pillow each and hit each other when the filming starts. Jian Man Shu who looks petite actually has a super strength, even Park Jung Min whose height is over 180cm could not beat her. After a battle, Jian Man Shu actually sat down on Park Jung Min who is pretending to do manicure on his fingers, the scene is very funny and Jian Man Shu even wanted to fold up Jung Min’s foot to give him a ‘Jian’s massage’. This ‘pillow-fighting’ scene is completely prevails to Jian Man Shu , Park Jung Min who comes from Korea was completely defeated by her. ‘Fondant Garden’ story which is getting more and more interesting will be broadcasted on CTV every Friday at 10pm; every Saturday at 10pm on STAR Chinese channel.

[Article] Jung Min Almost Lost his Handphone

Such news gives us all a scare. There are many instances that phone photos are use to blackmail people (not only celebrityies but ordinary people as well). I am happy to read that Jung Min's phone never got lost.

Much thanks once again to RoaylPJM for sharing this news on their blog.

[News] Park Jung Min Lost His Handphone While Filming in Taiwan Almost Exposing Secret Photos

Please repost with full credits.

SS501 Park Jung Min, male lead actor of idol drama "Fondant Garden", depended on his handphone to keep in contact with his fans while filming in Taiwan, more then 14000 fans followed him on his Twitter account. He who loves playing with his phone, while filming outdoors in Taiwan, actually lost his phone. This made Park Jung Min very worried, afriad that all the confidential information in this phone will be disclosed.

Park Jung Min is a "Handphone person", while filming CTV, Star Chinese Channel idol drama "Fondant Garden" in Taiwan, his phone never leaves him. The reason being besides wanting to know about the current news, he also keep in contact with his fans via Twitter. Park Jung Min's Twitter already has 14000 fans following him. The staff of "Fondant Garden" expressed, Park Jung Min's phone, ipad does not leave him, as long as he is not filming, he will be holding onto his phone, a truly hardcore 3C user. There was an incident when they were filming outdoors in Hua Lian, Park Jung Min actually lost his phone, this incident left a deep impression on the crews.

At that time, Park Jung Min was still tweeting with his phone just before the filming starts, just as everyone is preparing to leave for Taipei, Park Jung Min realised that he left his phone at the filming site. Because in the phone there were lots of memorable photos that were taken when he was filming in Taiwan, he was very anxious, the whole team immediately went back and help him look for his phone. Luckily the phone was found and Park Jung Min was relieved! Therefore, the crews even teased him, asking if there are some secrets that cannot be revealed in the phone? Park Jung Min just laughed bitterly.

Besides this, Park Jung Min is even popular in Turkey, Turkey fans were hoping that Park Jung Min can hold a fanmeeting in Turkey, but due to the earthquake in Turkey, Park Jung Min feels that it is not appropriate to hold such happy events, there fore the plan was being postponed. The idol drama "Fondant Garden" that Park Jung Min was acting in, will be shown every Friday 10PM on CTV, Every Saturday 10PM on Star Chinese Channel.

[Full Vid] Fondant Garden EP 3 03.09.12

For three consecutive Fridays now, I always look forward to 10PM and stay tuned to CTV at five minutes before ten to watch 'Fondant Garden'. It's a rare opportunity for me to watch drama (real time) on TV in HD as I always depend watching on live streaming (most of the times buffering) or other streaming sites after the drama has been uploaded.

In last nights's episode, the romantic-comedy drama started off by showing Jung Min. As the drama progresses, we hardly saw Jung Min. Episode three showed more scenes between Jian Man Shu and Kingone. Also, there were many back trackings. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, I am just looking for more of Jung Min. ^_^

Anyway, though Jung Min has less screen time tonight, in this episode you will get to see him show different emotions. For the past two episodes, we have seen Jung Min as funny and bratty. But last night, you'll see Jung Min looking melancholy in some few scenes, but there are still more of the funny and cute Jung Min . In the scenes where he's looking doleful, I find Jung Min doing a good job. He doesn't look stiff and his eyes can express the right emotion.

Now, let me segue to the NG part. First part of the NG is the NG of Kingone and Jian Man Shu in Seoul. The second part was the very cute NG of Jung Min and Jian Man Shu when JM was carrying her to get the comforter on top of all the stuff piled in the stockroom. If the kiss scene has 15 NGs, this scene has 13. Ei, just imagine how tired JM carrying JMS (despite being petite) after all the takes. Tsk... tsk... poor JM.

Okay, won't keep you long now... here is episode 3 in parts. Enjoy watching. Much thanks to and to veggiedelight for the tip.

Done watching? Episode 4 is something to look forward to again, right? I looks like that the love line between our two protagonists will already be starting. From the short preview above, we've to brace ourselves for some cute scenes between JM and JMS next week .

Here is NG vid.

Btw, the more I look at Jian Man Shu the cuter she gets. You think so?

[Vid] Jung Min Singing OST from 'Fondant Garden'

Episode 3 of 'Fondant Garden' just finished. I will be writing more about tonight's show later when the full video is out. Meanwhile, I am shoving here the cut where Jung Min is heard singing the OST of the drama. (Can someone please give the title to the song?)

Much thanks to for sharing on her YouTube channel and letting us hear the unique voice of Jung Min singing in Chinese.

Btw, the scene is when Jung Min left Fondant Garden after Jian Man Shu got mad at him for eating the cake that she made for a customer and due for delivery.

[Full Vid] Jung Min 'University' TV Show to Promote 'Fondant Garden'

On e 6th of March the show in which Jung Min, Jian Man Shu and Lia Lee guested called 'University' where they promoted 'Fondant Garden' (which I learned is doing good in Taiwan) was shown. Links to the show in five parts can be viewed in YouTube channel. Much thanks to @yyaann for emailing the links to these vids.

Here are the videos for your enjoyment where you can see how Jung Min revealed the he loves to cook, how the host Matilda Tao fell of Jung Min's charm and got giddly, how Jung Min reacted to the 'fried rice' (some kind of green joke in Taiwan) and more.

[Vid] Jung Min & Jian Man Shu Kiss Scene NG Cut Only

Have you seen last night's episode 2 of 'Fondant Garden'. Well if you still haven't you may watch HERE the unsubbed video OR watch HERE over at viiki.com the full show with English subs.

For those who are just looking for the cute kiss scene NGs of Jung Min and Jian Man Shu, has shared the cut vid on her YT channel. Much thanks!

Yah, 15 NGs! Super lucky Jian Man Shu to touch lips with Jung Min 15 times! These two are really adorable though they don't seem perfect for each other. But I like it a lot that there is no awkwardness and despite the language barrier, they seem to work well.

[Full Vid] Fondant Garden EP 2 03.02.12

The FULL unsubbed video of the romantic comedy 'Fondant Garden' is out. There are 6 parts of vids for this episode and in the last video, BTS of the kiss is included.

I saw the full episode of 'Fondant Garden' tonight over at CTV and again I am satisfied with tonight's episode. Though not understanding some parts, I enjoyed watching the drama from beginning to end especially when Jung Min is on the screen.

Just like last episode, Jung Min is so funny and adorable. I like all his expressions and I find him good in switching facial expression to fit the mood of his character.

In this episode, I like the scenes where he was escaping his house, when he was being chased by his body guards, when he passed out, when he carried Jian Man Shu and they both fell and when he rubbed his nose and whispered. Jung Min has many priceless expression which makes him so adorable.

Though he and Jian Man Shu do not seem like a perfect couple, I find them both cute and adorable.

I am again looking forward to episode 3 which from the preview looks interesting.

Here is the full video for your enjoyment. Much thanks to for the upload in her YouTube channel.

[Article] Meet Park Jung Min Dubber in 'Fondant Garden'

Thanks much to RoyalPJM for another translation regarding news about Jung Min and 'Fondant Garden'.

Well, like I said earlier, I am disappointed for not hearing Jung Min's real voice whenever he speaks Chinese in the drama but after watching episode one, I think that his dubber did quite good. But of I still do prefer Jung Min's voice.

Idol drama "Fondant Garden" official site held a event for the fans to search for "Who is Park Jung Min's Dubber?", the results are out on the 29th February, the real dubber is Eli Si with a vote of 2,500. The 1st show that Eli Si dub belongs to Park Jung Min. Eli Si is not worried that he will not do a good job, instead it was the few scenes of Park Jung Min pouting and acting coquetry, that causes him to blush when he dub.

Before Park Jung Min leave Taiwan he specially brought Loquat extract to visit dubbing set, put his palms together to ask Eli Si, "Please dub nicely",Eli Si return the favour by offering home made Fondant Cake, Eli Si seems to be fated with "Bakery", he has obtain a certificate in Bakery and intends to start a business in this field.

Entering the entertainment industry for over 20 years, Eli Si offered his virgin dubbing show to Hallyu star Park Jung Min, previously there were idol dramas being criticised due to dubbing for the Korean artiste, Eli Si is not worried at all, "as a professional actor, the voice is also part of the act." totally not worried that he will not do a good job.

Eli Si has released albums, acted in Dramas, Movies and even hosted tv shows, however, to dub dramas is still a first for Eli Si, he study the script thoroughly in order to know the characters in the drama, " I feel like I am working even harder then when I am one of the actors, no matter what I cannot messed up other people's drama." Everytime in the recording studio besides moving his mouth, Eli Si will be so immersed in the recording, he will have hand gestures while he says the lines, the part that he finds the most difficult part is Park Jung Min will pout, " in the drama his character is a willful young master, in a few scenes he will pout and act coquetry, I really don't know what should I do when I see it!" says that he will dub till he start blushing.

[Article & Vid] Jung Min Almost Fell Into Depression

Much thanks once again to RoyalPJM for translating and sharing this translation on their blog.

I guess I was not wrong in assuming that Jung Min felt homesick when he was in Taiwan despite the showering of love by the fans.

[News] Park Jung Min Hallyu Star Becoming Autistic While Filming In Taiwan, Childhood Game Painting Wooden Boxes To Hide Loneliness
Source: Apple Daily
English translation: RoyalPJM (royalpjm.wordpress.com)
Please repost with full credits.

Park Jung Min of Korean Boy Group SS501 who is currently 24 years old is still a playful child, although he does not have any professional training in drawing, he loves to paint/draw whenever he is free. He, who will greet everyone with a smiling face, revealed that when he first came to Taiwan to film CTV’s “Fondant Garden” he felt lonely often, often will hide in the hotel room to draw to soothe his emotions, he showed a wooden box with drawings of Flamingo on it, very colorful, very interesting.

Park Jung Min once revealed that he does not wish the other members of SS501 to watch his drama, he is also not used to watch their dramas, because he will be shy, but of course he hopes that the viewers in Taiwan will support him, that is why he drew very seriously “ Must Watch Oh”, showing his Chinese that he has been learning very hard. Following that he took out another box, on it was a drawing of a Flamingo, he says initially he wanted to draw a Lily, because of passion, the Lily from white color became a Flamingo which is red in color.

Working in Foreign Land, Almost Fell Into Depression

Park Jung Min often display Sexiness on stage, but in private he is just like a mischievous boy, even the producer of “Fondant Garden” Angie Chai describes him as “Unusual Handsome Guy”. But from his portrait of himself with the title “ Future Me”, with grey hair and blue eyes, it seems like he has acknowledged himself to be a pretty boy sub-consciously. In contrast, the Female Lead Jian Man Shu that he drew turned out to be a scary looking ugly duckling, he even wrote “Mi En is so ugly”, but he laugh and says that he is on very good terms with Jian Man Shu, so she will not take it to heart.

On the surface always bright and cheerful, Park Jung Min came to Taiwan last year, during the free time when preparing for the filming of the drama, as he is working in a foreign land, he almost fell into depression. He says that at that time, the only person/thing that can talk to him, is a sculpture of a elephant, everyday when he return to his room, he will even talk to the elephant, like “ I am back”, he even drew on the body of the elephant, and gave it a name “ The Power of Love”. He later donated the elephant to charity, the Elephant was donated to Thailand, he even feels a little lonely cause of it.

[Article] 'Fondant Garden' Gained Positive Comments

Much thanks to RoyalPJM for another article shared on their blog which you can visit HERE is you want updated news about Jung Min.

Honestly, when I was watching the romantic comedy drama last Friday, of course I was disappointed when I heard Jung Min's dubbed Chinese voice. Much as I really wanted it to be I want to hear Jung Min speak in the drama Chinese regardless how he delivers his Chinese lines. Put the director opted to dubbed his voice for a better understanding of the Chinese viewers. In fairness to the dubber though and to the voice editor, I find it that the dubbing was not really that bad. But as a Jung Min fan you would easily know that it's not him.

Anyway, as I have been telling earlier, I just hope that if ever they will release a DVD version of this drama, they will consider using Jung Min's real voice in the scenes where he speaks Chinese.

Btw, by any chance, has anyone know what the 1st episode rating is?

[Full Vid] Fondant Garden EP 1 02.24.12

I saw last night Fondant Garden not using the live streaming. I am so happy that one of the cable providers we have in our house has CTV. So no buffering for me and so elated to have watch it on big and wide screen.

For those who was not able to watch it either on TV or live streaming, here is the full episode 1 in five parts courtesy of YouTube channel.

Do not fail to see this cute romantic comedy. From beginning to end, though not understanding the whole drama, I find myself smiling big and laughing at Jung Min. He is handsome, cute and his comic acting is so natural.

After the drama, there is a few minutes of BTS and i died from laughing at Jung Min. He is so adorably funny! Go check the drama and the BTS. You will certainly love it and will look forward to the next episode.

Btw, I was so so satisfied with episode one but just for one thing and I am sure all of us will agree to this... Jung Min's dubbed Chinese voice. But overall, again, I super enjoyed watching this light drama. I hope if there is going to be a DVD the Chinese voice of JM is not dubbed.
