Lee Ji Ah's 'Cupcake & Alien'

Lee Ji Ah is one of the few Korean actresses that I like. She's not beautiful but pretty and cute.


After 'Legend' with Bae Yong Joon she was in 'Beethoven Virus' with Kim Myung Min. Her tele-cinema 'Face, Mind, and Love's Relationship' with Kang Ji Hwan is yet to be released. Currently, she's busy with 'Style' together with Ryu Shi Won. For someone who was unknown before 'Legend' , Ji Ah is so lucky to be paired with A-listers. To add one more on the list, she did a hot ad with So Ji Sub in Dressed to Kill.

Last year, December, she released her first digital single 'Love Virus'. Click HERE to listen. For her upcoming tele-cinema, music director Choi Kyung Shik recommended Ji Ah to sing the song for the tele-cinema. The song is 'Cupcake and Alien' which was said to have been written by Ji Ah herself.

I like the beat of the song, bosa. Her voice may not be that great but it's sweet.

She has talent, right? I've seen her act and sing, I wonder if she can dance too. Btw, aside from acting and singing, she's a graphic artist too.

Lee Ji Ah's New Drama in 2009

It’s in the news today the Lee Ji Ah [Legend & Beethoven Virus] will be in a new drama under SBS.

The title of the drama is ‘Style’ and she will be opposite Ryu Shi Won [All In and Wedding]. The drama will probably start in July under the directorship of Oh Jong Rok [Working Mon, Daisy, Hello My Teacher]. The writer is Eun-ha [My Tutor Friend 2, Love & Marriage, and Goong].

‘Style’ is based on a best selling novel by Baek Young Ok. The book ranked #11 in the second half of 2008. It has been called the Korean ‘Devil Wears Prada’.

'Style' which is adapted from the 4 times winning novel of the same name revolved around the lives of the staff working in a fashion magazine company. Lead actor, Ryu Shi Won, will be making his comeback after 5 years as a plastic surgeon 'Park Woo Jin' who switched his job to be a restaurant owner. Lee Ji Ah on the other has worked at a fashion magazine for eight years.

The project seems interesting and it sure looks like that Lee Ji Ah will be wearing beautiful clothes and accesories but I'm not too excited about Ryu Shi Won. But i will surely give this a try. I like Lee Ji Ah.

Ji Ah is again paired with another Hallyu star. As some might not know, Ryu Shi Won is sort of popular in Japan. She's been paired with Yong Joon and Kim Myung Min. Her tele-movie with Kang Ji Hwan will be out soon. She's been paired with So Ji Sub in 'Dressed to Kill' CF. Lucky, lukcy indeed.

She first appeared in 'Tae Wang Sa Shin Gi' [a.k.a. 'Legend'] with Bae Yong Joon and 'Beethoven Virus' opposite Kim Myung Min. She appeared in in 'Dressed to Kill' CF with So Ji Sub. Pretty soon she will be appearing in a Japan-Korean tele-drama entitled 'My Love, Ugly Duckling' with Kang Ji Hwan as her partner. Don't you think that she's sooooo lucky to be paired with these A lister actors?

Until now many still think that she's mysterious. There's nothing much written about her. Some say that she's from a well off family and that she has a someone strong backing her up. Her attending Pasadena Arts School was even in question. But even BOF did not issue any statement clearing all speculations about her.

I like Ji Ah despite knowing very little about her. Her acting may not be that good but it's not bad as well.

Actress Lee Ji Ah’s Sudden Debut As A Singer

In a campaign to help the needy, actress Lee Ji Ah is making her sudden debut as a singer.

On the 20th, cable channel tvN broadcast their world special ‘LOVE’ which led with the revelation of Lee Ji Ah’s soon to be released digital single ‘Love Virus.’

In this broadcast, Lee Ji Ah’s first recording was revealed to the public. ‘Love Virus’ is pop style winter season song which is created by hit composer Park Geun Tae and famous lyricist Yoon Sa Rah.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the International NGO (non-governmental organization), Good Neighbors. They will be used for children living in unfortunate environments in the Philippines and around the world.

In the meantime, Lee Ji Ah’s digital single ‘Love Virus’ will be released on various online sites on Christmas Eve.
