Ingrid sent this set of photos of Hyun Joong which she took when he visited an outlet of TheFaceShop in Mall of Asia (MOA) before proceeding to another presscon last Friday. Thanks Ingrid for sharing. Honestly, I haven't been going around to check on other photos when he was in Manila and this is the first time i've seen photos of Hyun Joong from MOA.

According to Ingrid, the store is very very crowded and the visit only last for ten minutes. She was able to see Hyun Joong when his entourage is to leave MOA as she and her friend decided to just wait outside (good idea, ladies^^). Geez, glad that I am able to talk to my friends not to go to MOA since the waiting and drive alone is much longer than seeing the man in person with too much crowd ^^

Here is another presscon tidbits which chae_yene sent. This is the 2nd presscon of Hyun Joong and this happened after TheFaceShop visit in Mall of Asia. chae_yene was actually apologetic that she was not able to get entire presscon as she was not able to capture the entire thing because she also took photos. chae_yene, long or short report, whatever you've shared with us, I am already very very grateful. Btw, I am so happy that chae_yene was able to get a solo photo opportunity with Hyun Joong and that she's able to have her Break Down Limited Edition signed personally by Hyun Joong.

Alright, here is now the snippets from the second press conference courtesy of TheFaceShop that was held last Friday, August 26, 2011 at Rockwell Club and was hosted by Grace Lee.

Attendees: Afew reporters from major networks, and mostly were editors from different magazines. There were also a few reps from some local fashion websites.

At the venue, the mannequin wearing Hyun Joong's shorts that was auctioned was displayed. The winner of it is a 73 year old grandmother who paid for it for P100,000. The proceed of the auction will go to Abiertas Foundation that Hyun Joong is currently supporting. It is a foundation that helps unwed mothers in the Philippines.

The presscon started on time. When Hyun Joong came in, he greeted everyone then he started to sit down. A flower bouquet was presented to him by actress, Gelli De Belen.

Before the presscon, they announced the rules in selecting questions and the same was applied to the one-on-one interviews. The following topics are strictly prohibited: SS501, Bae Yong Joon, girlfriends, his surgery, entering the military.

As Grace Lee started to call out the editors, they approached the mic, greeted leader and asked their question.

Here are some of the questions that chae_yene gathered.

1) Your favorite TFS product. It's a new product that he is currently endorsing.

2) What he goes for in looking in a girl. With or without make up what's important is the personality and not the outside beauty.

After this question someone asked something related to it and somewhat personal. So the interpreter said that the question cannot be entertained.

3) What's the best thing about being a TFS endorser? The brand being global means it's a good product as it is popular.

4) Best TFS travel product that he carries. (chae_yene was able to get the answer to this but from the other presscon I think his answer was BB cream)

5) Favorite TFS product that he can't do without. Moisturizing products.

6) TFS products that you'd recommend Filipino women. All products. (chae_yene had to laugh at this because she thinks that Hyun Joong really doens't know the answer to this)

7) Which one he'd like to pursue more - acting or singing. Asking this question is like asking me to choose between mom or dad, so i really can't choose one.

8) What's your everyday regimen.. and what is your favorite scent on women - choose from among the TFS scents. (chae_yene said that this is a tough question and she wasn't able to get the answer to this)

After the questions the program proceeded to the Abiertas Foundation and awarding of the winner of the auction. Also TFS donated a huge amount and presented the check but she wasn't able to get the figure. They also asked Hyun Joong to sign a poster of TFS.

PressCon Recap and Photos of Hyun Joong @ Edsa Shangri-La 08.25.11

Super thanks to chae_yene for sharing these Q&A of Hyun Joong during the press conference of PolyEast Record that happened on the 25th of August at the Mindoro Ballroom, EDSA Shangri-La Hotel. The presscon was hosted by MYX VJ Bianca.

The presscon was supposed to start at 2:30 pm but it was delayed for two hours. There was no specified reason given.

Questions for the presscon were already pre-selected. VJ Bianca reads each questions to Hyun Joong. An interpreter for Hyun Joong is present but he is not that good and that it seems that his translation is somewhat incomplete.

Following is the recap in bullets of questions and answers of Hyun Joong sent to me by chae_yene. Please note that this is not totally verbatim of what the interpreter said but chae_yene did her best to be able to write the exact replies of Hyun Joong to the questions.

• Hyun Joong was asked how was the trip. He replied that he was amazed at the fans who were gathered to meet him at the airport.
• He sings, dances and acts, the next questions was what is the next field that he wishes to conquer? Hyun Joong replies that he wants to concentrate on both singing and acting.
• As for the Break Down album, he was asked about what preparations are involved and how does he feel at the reaction of his fans about it. (interpreter's translation sounded jumbled) Hyun Joong said that more work was done and support from his fans will be greatly appreciated.
• He was asked, as a fashion icon, what would he describe his style. He said the he prefers black and something steady.
• With regard to the question about how he feels to be a solo artist for the past year. He replied that there were a lot of actions and moments . Also to expect more.
• About his next project, Hyun Joong said that in October his second album will be released. Then on December will be the start of his Asian Concert Tour. He mentioned that they will try to include Philippines in it.
• Someone asked if it is true about a free concert for Triple S fans. He said that there is a plan but not sure os of this time.
• He was asked which MV in Break Down is his favorite. He could not choose any as he tried his best in all of the MVs in the album.
• Then someone from the audience asked 'How about Kiss Kiss?' Hyun Joong said that Kiss Kiss is the lowest budgeted MV. With that answer, there was laughter in the room.
• There was a question about what inspires him in conceptualizing his MV. He said that there is no certain time. He added that when he gets idea he writes it down on his iPad or whichever.
• What are the three things which make him happy. He replied, that all the thins that he loves to do are involved in what he is currently doing which are singing and acting.
  
• There is a question , who are his musical influences. He said that there are a lot of Korean musicians who helped him get to where he is today but if he has to choose it would be Seo Taiji, the legend.
• He was asked, what he loves most about performing. He said that if he is on the state and energy is starting to burn up and he feels tired, but when he makes contact to fans it re-charges him. The most important is the love from fans.
• Between acting and singing he was asked which he prefers. He said that he would choose both as both are his profession.
• Someone asked if he write songs and Hyun Joong said that he tries to compose.
• With regard to the Break Down album once again, he was asked what is his favorite track. He replied that most of the songs there are great but if he has to choose one Break Down is the best.
• There is a question about appearing in a drama or movie. He said that after the Asian concert tour next year he will be doing a drama then probably a movie too.
• About the role he would like to play. He said that he wants a role of a man with full of charisma. Then the host said that he is already full of it and the audience reacted agreeing to what she said.
• Finally his message to his Filipino fans. Hyun Joong said, "Thank you for all the love that you are showing me... there will be better songs and better performances."

[FanCam] Hyun Joong's Arrival, Hi5 & TFS Signing Events in Manila

Much thanks KHJPerfect for capturing this moment of Hyun Joong in Manila from the time at NAIA to Trinoma Activity Center and sharing on KIMHYUNJOONGPERFECT YT channel . I was with this group for two lovely days and it's so amazing to be with them and see how much love they have on Hyun Joong. I was watching them take all the wonderful moments of HyunJoong on stage coolly.





On the last day of activity at Trinoma, like me, they also had a difficulty getting good captures of Hyun Joong but with their skills they were still able to good shots.



Grace Lee is really good at hosting especially at this kind of events. On my blog entry about the TFS event,I mentioned that I was asked what questions I would like to ask Hyun Joong but my friends and I could not come up with any and questions such as about BYJ, his girlfriend, SS501 (sigh, all members are at times not allowed to be asked about the group. I am pretty sure it is not to their liking) and surgery cannot be asked.

The last leg of Hyun Joong's Asia Tour ended yesterday evening with TheFaceShop fan signing for event at the Trinoma Activity Center in the Philippines. He will be going back to Seoul for a much needed rest later after almost of month of being away in his home country then prepare for his second comeback which might just happen in October.
(Note : There's a storm and the wind is strong. Hope my friends and Hyun Joong flight won't be delayed or canceled.)

On the last day of Hyun Joong's activities, he started the day with a visit to Mall of Asia where one of TheFaceShop stores can be found. He only stayed at the store for less than 30 minutes then headed back again to Edsa Shangri-La for interview (or was it a presscon again?) for different magazine publications. After the interview, he then proceeded to Trinoma for another visit to another TheFaceShop outlet. Afterwhich, the fan signing program started in which Grace Lee hosted. The program started with the usual greetings then Q&A which made the fans happy and giddy. Grace even asked Hyun Joong to say a Filipino phrase that he knows and he said to the delight of all the fans inside "Mahal kita" which means "I love you". As always, Grace Lee always gives good interview and entertainment by throwing the right questions. Btw, earlier, I was sent a message by a friend who's with Grace what questions I want to asked, I even asked the Korean fans I am with if they want to ask questions but all of us could not come up with any. Had I known that I will be asked I would have prepared and gotten some from fans.

Few minutes after the interview and Q&A, the fan signing event started. Wanted to get good photos but the seat where I was at hardly can't get a good view. And I can't move to where I was because the bags of my friends were left on their seat. Someone has to guard them.

Only 100 lucky fans were given the chance to get an autograph from Hyun Joong and 5 lucky fans (plus one, mother of Grace who is very pretty and I had a chance to get to know earlier) from balloon popping game had a chance to get a solo photo opportunity with Hyun Joong.

Two lucky little girls were the envy of the night. One girl gave Hyun Joong a kiss on the cheek! Hyun Joong leaned over for the little girl to be able to kiss him on the left cheek. And the other little one got to be kissed by Hyun Joong! He again leaned over and kissed the little girl her cheek! And there was one little boy who got a tap on the head from him. ^_^

The event ended with all staff of TheFaceShop including Mr. Ben Chan having their photo taken with Hyun Joong.

Hyun Joong promised to be back next year and I guess as early as now everyone is already excited about it.

Yesterday, I again met quiet a lot of new fans. Also met some of my blog visitors. I may not be able to remember all of your names but I will make certain that I remember you when I see you somewhere. [Pix] Hyun Joong Hi5 in Manila 08.25.11

Today Hyun Joong arrived in Manila at 11:55 via Thai Airways. From the airport at 1PM he had an inclusive interview with one of the premier TV magazine show host. After which a presscon was supposed to start at 3PM but it was delayed and started about past 5.

I arrived in Trinoma together with some Korean fans a little before 4PM and was amazed to see the activity center are already overflowing (from ground floor to the 4th level) with fans. Luckily the area in which we are seated only has limited numbers of ticket holders. We were actually 4th in the queue. Btw, yes, the activity area has seats! Woot! Woot! Hee, and the Koreans were so happy about it. ^^ They were saved from bringing with them their stools. ^^

The Hi5 was supposed to start at 5:15 but it did not and I didn't care (I guess most fans as well) because we were comfortably seated. To cut the story short Hi5 started at around 7 and it lasted only for about 20 to 30 minutes. That fast but it was fun. And I was told that not all were able to get the Hi5 as the organizers had to stop it because of another commitment of Hyun Joong. Anyway, when Hyun Joong arrived, he was welcomed with a thunderous screams from fans that even when he was greeting everyone it's so difficult to hear. Even the interpreter hardly heard him and fans hardly understood what the interpreter said. ^^

A short greeting, a few questions, then Hi5 started. The event ended with him thanking fans and saying a few things more which I really wasn't able to catch. From start to finish, Hyun Joong wore a very beautiful and bright smile. It seems like the smile on his face never faded.

While we were eating I told my friends that I didn't understand what Hyun Joong said. With that they turned on their videocam and listened to let me know. Apparently, they can only understand a few as the screaming was really loud. Anyway, I was told that just like what Hyun Joong said in other countries, he would also like to do a concert in the Philippines next year.

Tomorrow, my friends and I will have another chance to see Hyun Joong in the same venue. Hopefully I could get to see more familiar faces again the likes of Pluto and Jupiter from the foreigner side. To everyone who greeted and recognized me thanks. For those whom I wasn't able to recognized I'm sorry, this lady's memory is really getting bad.

Btw, hopefully tomorrow there won't be too much screaming as I want to hear Grace Lee's (she will host... yeah!) interpretation and of course Hyun Joong's voice.
