According to TFS@SG: He actually had indigestion because he tried to finish a 8-9 course lunch in 30 mins in order not to be late for the Tampines event. That is why he did not go to Jumbo. We did da bao for him though and he loved it.

[FanAccount] Hyun Joong's Tampines Mall Store Visit 12.02.10
Here's one fan account that I have been waiting and looking forward to share. It's the fan account of wonderrrgirl who is a member of LoveKimHyunJoong.
I have mentioned many times how nice Hyun Joong securities are especially Mr. Shin. Well, here's wonderrrgirl fan account to proved thanks. Thanks again wonderrrgirl and will be looking forward to more of your sharing.

[2010.12.02] FA: KHJ's TM Store Visit

To be honest, I wasn’t planning to go, because I really don’t like crowds very much.
I was quite sure he’s not going to stay for long either.
Quite frankly, I went down only because earlier that day, I wanted to talk to bb unnie about something,
so I went down to Tampines Mall to meet the LKHJ girls who were at Starbucks instead of queuing with the rest. ^_^
However, when I went over with some others to check out the queuing,
saw our Korean friend from the airport yesterday, so went to speak with her.
Not long later, the security suddenly brought up the barricades and we found ourselves suddenly right in front of where KHJ will arrive later in his car.
It was really quite lucky.
So I decided that I should stay.
KHJ is supposed to come at 3:30PM, but by 3:30PM there was still no sign of him. It was quite a tiring wait for the fans.
Also, it started to rain at about 2-2:30PM.
I was happy because this means KHJ is indeed “비부돌bi-bu-dol” (Idol who brings rain)!
I believe my personal experience of waiting for him that day was also made enjoyable mostly by KHJ’s personal bodyguard over here. (The burly one ^.^)
Because of our Korean friend, he could recognize her perhaps, or it’s just nice to hear a familiar language in a foreign place.
They started to talk quite a lot.
His bodyguard first asked us if there is a Panasonic store in Tampines Mall. (There isn’t)
We told him that there isn’t but there are many electronic stores around. I think he could not hear it because he asked again where is the electronic store.
Later on, he came over and asked again where is the toilet.
He spoke in English however, “Toilet, where?”
Quite an interesting guy.
Our Korean friend was randomly ranting to him that it’s tiring, asking if KHJ will come soon.
The bodyguard was really nice; he called up someone and asked, “Where are you” (in Korean).
Told us that he will be coming soon (though “soon” is really an ambiguous word!)
He also told us about KHJ’s car in Singapore.
He said a BMW was chosen for him because it was bigger for men to change inside. ^_^
Our Korean friend wrote a fan letter and wanted to pass it to KHJ’s manager who happen to walk by, but the manager told her she should give it to KHJ herself later... if possible. ^.^
Later on, TFS crew arrived,
Everyone was excited for a while, thinking it is KHJ.
The next car that arrived consist of KHJ’s crew,
Mainly Cordi unnie/noona & the makeup artists.
We were able to hear the makeup artist saying to KHJ's bodyguard that she was not able to touch up KHJ’s make up for the store visit.
I guess the Press Conference earlier really ended late (He had private interviews to do after that).
Honestly, I thought cordi unnie looks kind of stressed.
(But later when KHJ came, he looked just as good though! Make up or not. ^.^)
KHJ’s bodyguard then came over and informed us that he will only be staying in the store for 15-20minutes.
KHJ came finally at approximately 4:30PM
He stayed in the car for a while before stepping out.
The bodyguard was guarding the door, and the other taller guard (also KEYEAST) stepped out of the car as well.
They open the door slightly and was in conversation with KHJ, probably asking if he’s ready or not?
Then finally, the STAR came walking out.
He was in white (as many will know by now), very handsome, and I had a great view, better than airport yesterday.
I was smarter this time and I took a video instead.
(Will upload later on when I return to Singapore)
KHJ spoke abit, basically about how he’s happy to come to SG and that he is coming back to promote his album ^_^
Oh! He also said we should buy more TFS products! ^_^
He only stayed for about 10-15 minutes and left very quickly.
However, it was quite a worthwhile wait for me, because it was nice to know that KHJ’s bodyguard is so nice. I’ve always heard about him being nice, and was finally able to experience it for myself.
He is quite understanding most of the time too.
Actually, the bodyguard even allowed fans to take the fancams for a while more before asking them to move back so that KHJ could go into his car safely.
Was a great day!
At night, went to eat at Jumbo Seafood Restaurant.
Almost all of the TFS and KHJ’s crew were also eating there actually.
There were some fans around, but yes, no sign of KHJ. ^.^
However, we were there to bring the Korean and Japanese fans for a good meal, as well as to let them try out the Chilli Crabs in Singapore. Had a great time with the LKHJ girls!
Rushed back home afterwards because I have to pack for KL and get ready for tomorrow... MORE SOON! ^.^

For a person who harbours dreams of alien encounters and outer space travels, it’s not hard to see why the band leader of SS501 has earned himself the nickname of a “fourth-dimensional person”
He lives in a world of his own and is known for having a “fourth-dimensional” personality filled with quirky thoughts and ideas.
Take the recent incident when a Korean fan masquerading as a repairman entered his place on the pretext of repairing his gas pipes. Instead of seeking help from security — as per what all normal beings would do — Kim Hyun Joong decided against it and treated her like a “normal repairman”.
And that’s not the end of his unconventional experience. Calling that his “most outrageous fan encounter”, the band leader of SS501 (also known as leader Kim) even allowed her to cook him a bowl of porridge at his place.
Hyun Joong recalled feeling a little “down and unwell” on the day of the incident.
“And the fan, thankfully, she cooked up some porridge and placed a bowl of porridge on the table before leaving,” he said through a translator, giving a slight chuckle.
In town as ambassador for Korean beauty brand, The Face Shop, the 24-year-old also flaunted his offbeat sense of humour at the press conference held in Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center.
He tickled many with his cheeky yet straightforward response when asked if he “goes for looks in a girlfriend”.
Instead of providing a conclusive answer, the 24-year-old deftly countered back with a question, “If not looks, what else should I go for?”
Giving the question a second thought, he added, “I don’t particularly go for supermodel looks. I feel that on the average, usually when a lady has a very beautiful face, she may have an average figure. When her figure is outstanding, she may have an average face.
“But no, I don’t have a particular liking for a very beautiful face. I usually go for the average,” the bemused one chuckled.
Wearing an all-white ensemble that was most befitting of his charismatic and princely persona, the singer turned actor shared that he was taken aback by the rousing welcome at the airport when he arrived.
The overwhelming turnout must have left an indelible impression on Hyun Joong as he keenly expressed eagerness in returning to Singapore next year “as a singer” for album promotions and a fan-meeting following the release of his single solo album.
Breaking into his trademark toothy grin, the charming lad quipped, “I also plan to act in new dramas – if there are any good scripts.”
Said to bear a striking resemblance to Korean star Bae Yong Joon, the flower boy felt “honoured” to be placed in the same league as the handsome Hallyu actor most famous for his role in Winter Sonata.
“No comment,” he said with a hearty laugh when asked to name the better-looking one between the both of them and mused, “The most important thing besides deciding who is more handsome is the fact that Mr Bae Yong-joon is my boss [Hyun Joong is contracted under Bae's management agency, KeyEast].”

Ken asked Hyun Joong to choose three gifts that fans gave him. First gift he choose is a big Lion wearing a necklace with LoveKimHyunJoong on the pendant. The gift came from LoveKimHyunJoong.com.
The second gift that Hyun Joong choose to open came from SGTripleS which contains manga and letters for Hyun Joong.
The third gift is bottle of bottle of origami hearts by a fan.
Hyun Joong bidding farewell to fans and promising them that he will be back to promote his album next year.

Kim's standees fetched more than $12,000
POPULAR Korean singer-actor Kim Hyun Joong raised more than $12,000 at his autograph session-cum-charity auction at IMM shopping centre on Friday.
Two life-size autographed standees of him fetched more than $6,000 each. The charity auction was held in conjunction with World Aids Day and proceeds will go to World Vision's One Life Fund.
The auction for each of Kim Hyun Joong's standees started at $150 and subsequent bids were $50 per hand raised. But it soon spiralled into the thousands with the final bid for the first standee going for $6,500 and the second standee, $6,686.
The numbers for the second bid of 6686 coincides with the numbers for Kim's birthday, which is June 6, 1986.
Encouraged by the response, Kim himself matched the second bid, and pledged another $6,686, bringing the total proceeds for charity up to $19,872.
The Korean heartthrob made his first public appearance in Singapore as the new ambassador of Korean cosmetics brand The Face Shop.
