I have mentioned earlier that this is not the first time the when all artist of KE joined together for an ecological project. Last year they did one for Cosmopolitan and the magazine was sold out. This year, KE decided to come up with a calendar and as news articles reported when the calendar was out run out of stock immediately.

2011 Keyeast Eco Calendar was sold out on-line shopping sites in Korean and Japan in one day..

The Eco Calendar that was produced by the Keyeast artists and Korean committee of UNEP sold out quickly right after the sales started through the domestic and foreign websites.

The Eco Calendar was made by the environmental production process with 100% environmental papers and vegetable soybean oil ink. It also functions as the eco diary, not only as a calendar.

This diary is the second environmental campaign of Keyeast since they donated their entire profits from the environmental photos last May. They also plan to donate their entire profits to the Global Environmental Program (GEP) of the Korean Committee of the United Environmental Plan (UNEP).

Keyeast said, “We were surprised of the speed of the sales, which was much quicker than what we had expected.”, and “We appreciate that many people showed their interests in the environmental issues and participated in it actively. We decided to produce additional calendars due to the high volume of demands both domestically and internationally.”

2011 Eco Calendar can be downloaded through the Korean and English version of the smart phone application domestically and worldwide, in October.

I have heard of this earlier but wasn't to clear about it. Finally article is out. Thanks to Suehan for translating this on her blog.

This is not the first time that KeyEast artists participated in an environmental cause. I remember that in May 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan 'Cosmo Campaign Kick the Habit' all artists of KeyEast also participated to shot environmental pictorials that stretch no less than 22 pages along with 14 actors from BYJ's agency. (Seoul=Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Byung Gyu = Top stars including Bae Yong Joon, Lee Na Young, and Kim Hyun Joong got together to produce the calendar for the environment.

On the 27th, their agency, Keyeast stated that they produced “2011 Eco Calendar” with the actors of Keyeast, Choi Gang Hee, Lee Bo Young, Bong Tae Gyu, Lee Ji Ah, So Yi Hyun, Hwan Hee, Hong Soo Hyun, and Kim Soo Hyun.

This calendar contains stories related to the environmental anniversary, marking the official environmental anniversary, and actors’ comments relating to the environment anniversary which were specified by the actors.

Keyeast paid all of the production expenses. This calendar used Environmentally-friendly papers and vegetable bean oil ink for its production and was produced through an environmentally-friendly production process. Entire profits will be donated to Global Environment Program of the Korean committee of the United Nations Environment Program.

Keyeast’s actors donated the profits from the shooting of the environmental photo book for the magazine last May to environmental groups.

The calendar will be released by the on-off line store of Korea Ten by Ten (www.10x10.co.kr) and Japan Bofi site (www.bofi.jp) at the same time. It will also be introduced through a Smart-phone application in the middle of October.

Yang Geun Hwan, the representative of Keyeast said, “All of the actors became the Eco – supporters this year like last year.”, and “The calendar contains the honest stories from the actors regarding the environment with smiles.”

Kim Hyun Joong now with KeyEast

News is out and it came from KeyEast.

Alright hold your horses... not sure what the whole contract is but KeyEast, Bae Yong Joon's agency only handles actor [though it has one singer].



Let's wait for the translation. Geez... part of me is happy... part is still seeking answer.

Now that this is out, his new drama I think was negotiated under KeyEast already.

P.S. There are news too whether DSP will just continue to have 4 members or add another member. But again let's take this with a pinch of salt since this is still a rumor.

I'm still hoping that contract with KE is only for acting.

So Ji Sub no longer with BOF

So Ji Sub's contract with BOF will end this May 18. Ji Sub was contracted by Boundaries of Forest[BOF] in December 2005 while he was still serving in the military.

There has been news lately about So Ji Sub's contract expiring but no words came out from either BOF nor Ji Sub until today. Though news about Ji Sub putting up his own agency together with best buddy Song Seung Hun still remains to be rumor.

Today BOF put a notice on So Ji Sub official korean website www.sojisub.com that BOF is managing and announced the following [thanks to haiyingqin for posting on SJS thread @ soompi] :

We feel sorry but we have to give notice about the website closure.
First of all, we appreciate your love and sincere interest
about Sojisub's activity and this website, sojisub.com.
This website has been a precious space, in which Sojisub

I've seen it coming and honestly I'm not sad about him leaving BOF. Here let me share what I've posted in So Ji Sub thread @ soompi.

i think i was the happiest person when BOF signed SJS back in 2005 [imagine BYJ and SJS in under one roof] . I still remember how happy I was then. I think that Ji Sub's stint with BOF has been fruitful though others may think otherwise. Though he didn't have major projects right after he left the military, BOF however made sure that he'll be visible in prints and other media. He had done many CFs/endorsements, been cover of many magazines, had activities in Japan, made a movie in Japan, China and Korea and drama. He even released his own digital song and MV.

When he transferred to BOF in 2005 he brought with him some of his managers from his previous agency. So Ji Sub even said in an interview that it had been a long wait [for a drama project] but it was worth it. He may have changed his style [which others may not like] but i believe it was all part to further his career. And I believe many of us weren't disappointed.

There's been talk that he will put up his agency together with his best buddy Song Seung Hun. This has been the trend in Korea lately. I wish him and SSH the best of luck. I'm pretty sure that they'll be getting tips from their hyeong who I think has been looked up to by others as a role model [BOF consists of young and dynamic team] when forming their own agency.

With SJS no longer with BOF, I am still be giving him my 100% support. I've been his fan even before he came to BOF.

I've blogged about Yong Joon being the cover of May issue of Cosmopolitan which will be available in Korea and Japan starting April 20.

For those interested to purchase it's available in BOFi website though it's in Japanese. I'll post later when i get to know where else to order Cosmo.

I don't see So Ji Sub and Lee Na Young. SJS must be busy with 'Cain and Abel' which is going to end next week [if you haven't seen it yet go catch it, it's a nice drama]. While LNY must be busy doing other projects.

Btw, Park Ji Bin, the young boy in 'Boys Over Flowers' who played the brother of Jan Di is also a talent of BoF. Likewise Chung Lim [age 23 not 30 ish as what i read from another blog] who just debuted as singer last March [i'll be blogging about him later. i've already drafted my entry about him since last week i was just too busy with some other stuff]

BOF Talents for Environmental Protection

May issue of Cosmoplitan will feature Bae Yong Joon and other BOF talents such as Choi Kang Hee, Lee Bo Young and Park Ye Jin. This May issh of Cosmo will have themed pictorial focusing on 'Earth Day's' Environmental Protection ' [22 pages?]

BOF stars were interviewed for this issh without pay since this is for a good cause. [in one article it says 20 of BOF stars were interviewed]

The issue will be out on April 20 in Korea.

Quick News on BOF Artists

This time BOF stands for Boundaries of Forest which is the management company of Bae Yong Joon, So Ji Sub, Lee Na Young, Lee Ji Ah, Park Ye Jin, Choi Kang Hee and many more. I'm just clarifying things since I'm been blogging a lot about another BoF which stands for 'Boys Over Flowers'. ^^

I was just at BOF webby and seems that BOFs top talents are busy with tv projects. Park Ye Jin will be in a new saeguk drama. She will be Princess Chun Myung in MBC big budget saeguk drama of the year, 'Queen Seon Duk' . She's currently in 'Family Outing' and a drama which is also consistently in the top 5 of Wed-Thurs drama 'Again, My Love / Hateful But Once Again'. So Ji Sub's drama 'Cain & Abel' is consistently doing well in the chart [Top 2] for Wed and Thurs drama as well. Lee Ji Ah has an upcoming mini drama together with Kang Ji Hwan entitled 'My Love, Ugly Duckling', Lee Bo Young's movie with Kwon Sang Woo has just been release and it raked money on its first week. Lee Na Young is busy with cfs and she just signs with Hollywood agency, William Morris agency, that houses some of the biggest names in entertainment such as Russell Crowe, Eminem, Jennifer Lopez and Alicia Keyes.

It's only Yong Joon who's not doing movie or tv projects. but i'm sure some news will come out soon since 'WLS Anime' will soon hit the small screen by July this year. :)

BoF : JiHoo-JanDi Car Wash Scene

This scene was a sweet surprise in last night's episode of 'Boys Over Flowers'. A lot of photos came out but never we did see once a photo about this scene.

Though some viewers [particularly the JoonDi shippers] think that this scene in unnecessary. Hee but for me it's priceless and I find it very very interesting.

Did you noticed that Ji Hoo is trying to avoid Jan Di? Actually not only in this scene but in some other scenes as well like the haircut scene.

Anyway, I love how they were having fun & enjoy each other company while doing a simple chore. It must have been really difficult for Ji Hoo to avoid Jan Di who he has been silently loving . I hurt for him. I wish that Jan Di knows Ji Hoo's feeling for her.

Lee Bo Young Now with BOF

Another artist signed up a contract with Boundaries of Forest [BOF] and she's no less than Lee Bo Young.


Lee Bo Young, 30, is an actress and a model. She has been in several movies and dramas [Mr Goodbye (KBS, 2006), The Ballad of Suh Dong (SBS, 2005, Save the Last Dance for Me (SBS, 2004)]. Her current project is 'Sad Love Story' opposite Kwong Sang Woo and Lee Beom Soo [On Air]. It is said that she is currently dating Ji Sung [All In].

LBY i think is still the female endorser of The Face Shop.

In the earlier news that came out, it was said that Yong Joon personally called Lee Bo Young to join BOF.

i saw this news posted on byjgallery and kob, 배용준 CEO "불황? CF 나한테 물어봐! and according to mariko, this new talks about actors in BOF with many CF contracts and that feedback of the product they are endorsing have very positive response from consumers.

of course yong joon's name is the very first one mentioned. the name of so ji sub, lee na young, lee ji ah and and park ye jin were also in the news.

btw, 'beethoven virus' is doing very good at the rating race against 'the kingdom of winds' starring song il kook and 'painter of the winds' which stars park shin yang. senior actor kim myung min is in BV but i strongly believe the lja and jang geun suk are also the reason why the show is rating. ^^

The rumor is not dying…

And now that it said that the date of the wedding is October 25.

I was not supposed to blog about this but since it's out again, i might as well.

I’m talking about the rumored wedding of Bae Yong Joon and Lee Na Young. Netizens are said to be talking about it after LNY denied the marriage rumor but not the relationship.

Could it be that we are likely to hear from Yong Joon or BOF soon? I remember that when Yong Joon was rumored to have been dating Lee Ji Ah, BOF was so fast in taking action by releasing notice. But this time they kept quiet about it.

Btw, rumor has been circulating since last year.

surprised??? i was when i read it in the news articles posted on kob and byjgallery tonight.

geez, a wedding in october for yong joon and lee na young? i'm not saying that it's impossible. i like lny [29] and they've worked together in the 2001 music video 'goodbye my love'. she's one of the prettiest and good actresses around. and she's very in demand as an endorser.

anyway, i asked mariko's help to read the article as well and she confirmed what i read. in both articles, one from mydaily and the other one from SPN, it says that there is already a date and hotel reservation for the wedding in October. but lee na young denied it and even said that she doesn't have any plans of getting married soon.

i wonder what yong joon has to say about this? as you know both belong to the same agency, BOF. LNY signed contract with BOF on April 2006. could it be another demolition plan against yong joon. i mean he has been rumored to lee ji ah another BOF artist and when they cannot prove the relationship he is now rumored to lee na young? hmm...what gives?

last i heard, lny was dating jang dong gun. how true? don't have any idea but i read that when he was in the US i think last year during Rain's concert she was also seen there.

btw, lny has a new movie with japanese actor odagiri joe the movie's title is ‘Dream’ which is directed by award winning director Kim Ki Duk.

yong joon seems to be rumored with so many lee's lately, there's lee sa gang, lee ji ah and now lee na young. hee, and here's something which i'm sure not all of you know. i read before about 4 or close to 5 years ago [in old soompi before it crashed in 2005] i think that he was seen dining with another lee...lee hyori but she denied it.

lee ji ah attended the presscon of 'beethoven virus' together with kim myung min and jang geun suk. she also played the violin together with the orchestra under the baton of kim myung min.

i like what she wore during the mini performance and at the interview. i will upload videos later.

btw, in the interview by the press, yong joon's name was mentioned again [same with the case of ji sub during the 1st presscon of 'rough cut'] and it's already in the news. i will share later the translation of what ji ah said about yong joon. ^^
