New Developments on So Ji Sub’s Drama

'Dr. Stop' that was earlier reported to be the comeback drama series of SJS [his last was MISA in 2005] is back again to its original title ‘Cain and Abel’. Yes, from ‘Cain and Abel’ to ‘Dr Stop’ to ‘Cain and Abel’ again.


According to the news, C&A will also have another comebacking actor. He is Shin Hyun Joon, whose last drama was ‘Stairways to Heaven’ [2004]. As for the female lead actress, it was reported that, Chae Jung Ahn, of ‘Coffee Prince’ will also be in the drama.

C&A’s original casts before includes Ji Jin Hee [Spotlight] and Jung Ryeo Won. But due to the delays in filming and script revisions, the two decided to drop C&A with other projects. Despite the problems surrounding the production team, So Ji Sub confirmed his commitment to do the drama.

C&A is a story about the conflict of two brothers. Cho In (SJS) who is a genius doctor but is isolated from the higher power of hospital politics and his elder brother, Seon Woo [SHJ) who thinks that his brother has taken everything away from him such as their father’s love, his talent as a doctor and his beloved woman.

In the news, it was said that C&A will be aired on February 2, 2009.

pre-nuptial wedding photos of park sung woo a.k.a. joomuchi and shin eun jung a.k.a. dalbi are posted on the net today. the two will tie the knot on the 18th of october.

psw and sej met at the set of 'twssg'. currently they are both in the drama 'east of eden' which stars song seung hun, lee da hee and many more.

the wedding might just be another star studded wedding. but as of this writing, yong joon is not yet sure if he'll be attending the wedding since it will coincide with the cultural awards [if he'll be awarded]. their other co-stars like, lee ji ah who is busy filming 'Beethoven Virus' song seung hun and the rest of 'east of eden' aren't sure to attend as well due to the filming schedule.

anyway, all the best to both!

there'll be 2 possibilities to where we might just see yong joon. it could either be at the weddng of joomuchi and dalbi or at the Cultural Day of 2008 Ceremony. hmm, which amongst these 2 events will he be attending?

with the news about the cultural day ceremony, i'm sure those who have signed up for the wedding are having second thoughts. if i were them i will just stay on the net where i'll have a big chance seeing him

i hope the tour groups will back off.

btw, the cultural day will be held at Cheongju, Choongbuk province while the wedding of will take place at outside of Seoul.

‘Yonsama’, Bae Yong Joon became a representative of Korea’s culture.

On the 18th, Bae Yong Joon will receive the Cultural Award at The Cultural Day of 2008 ceremony which will be held in Cheongju, Choongbuk province. He was acknowledged due to his extensive contribution to introduce the Korean culture; he will receive an award at The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism event which is organized by the ministry. ‘Hallyu Star’, Jang Nara will receive ‘Today’s Young Artist Award’ due to her role as a cultural bridge between Korea and China.

This is the first time to receive The Cultural Award as a Hallyu Star. Last year, Lee Young Ae of Daejanggeum received the Cultural Medal due to her contribution to the development of broadcasting. On 2005, when the event of ‘The Friendship Year of Korea and Japan, 2005’ was held, the former secretary of The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Jeong Dong Chae publicly said that he was willing to give The Cultural Award to a Hallyu Star. Bae Yong Joon will finally accomplish that this year following Lee Young Ae.

He only received Today’s Young Artist Award in the film category since he became a Hallyu Star. This award was given by The Ministry of Culture and Tourism on 2005, which is the same award that Jang Nara will receive. This Cultural Award officially will acknowledge Bae Yong Joon as the representative of Korea and Hallyu.

Bae Yong Joon came up on the throne as a ‘Hallyu Star’ through the drama, “Winter Love Song”. “Winter Love Song” was broadcasted in Japan from early of 2003 with the title of “Winter Sonata (冬のソナタ) and it brought out ‘the boom of Winter Love Song’. The desire of the Japanese to learn and tour Korea, boomed locally, and it generated enormous economic effects.

“The Cultural Day of 2008” will be held at the Art Hall in Cheongju at 4:00 pm on the 18th. ‘The Cultural Day’ award ceremony is held at different pIaces in the country every year, and it will be held in Cheongju this time.

btw, 'beethoven virus' is doing very good at the rating race against 'the kingdom of winds' starring song il kook and 'painter of the winds' which stars park shin yang. senior actor kim myung min is in BV but i strongly believe the lja and jang geun suk are also the reason why the show is rating. ^^

i don't fancy philip, but since he is a friend of yong joon [he considers him as his younger brother] i like him. been reading some ugly stuffs written by antis and they really irritate me. i wonder if philip has any projects? he's always tagging along with yong joon and it seems that his agency been allowing him to do this. hmm, to get some media mileage??? i hope it stops.

much as i want to know yong joon's whereabouts from the tour companies, i think that BOF has to put some teeth to these tour companies that have been following yong joon almost everyday.

likewise, i hope also that these tour companies will be a little sensitive to yong joon's feeling. touring fans at gorilla in the kitchen is ok, letting them go to tea loft is fine, brining them to park bof, nami and jeju would be great too. but following him around and waiting for him to come out of the gym, salon and clinic almost everyday i think is already too much. there were even reports of following him to the coffee shop.

sigh...i really think that he might not just go the the wedding on the 18th of is co stars in twssg. or he might...just what he did when he attended yoon tae young wedding. he didn't go to the reception but instead used the backdoor to greet the couple at their dressing room.
