and below is suehan's translation from a blog on cyworld whose owner happens to be sitting just right at the back of yong joon's seat.

It was right under my nose..
I kept thinking about who that was, looking at him.. and then I realized it was Bae Yong Joon.

As usual, 5 managers were with him watching the show...
he seemed like a real person, focused in taking pictures of the concert with his camera.
Anyways, seeing BYJ by chance, he wasn’t as tall as I had thought.

I was sitting right behind him, so I couldn’t take any pictures of him from the front,
but I did take pictures of his backside.

Actress Lee Ji Ah’s Sudden Debut As A Singer

In a campaign to help the needy, actress Lee Ji Ah is making her sudden debut as a singer.

On the 20th, cable channel tvN broadcast their world special ‘LOVE’ which led with the revelation of Lee Ji Ah’s soon to be released digital single ‘Love Virus.’

In this broadcast, Lee Ji Ah’s first recording was revealed to the public. ‘Love Virus’ is pop style winter season song which is created by hit composer Park Geun Tae and famous lyricist Yoon Sa Rah.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the International NGO (non-governmental organization), Good Neighbors. They will be used for children living in unfortunate environments in the Philippines and around the world.

In the meantime, Lee Ji Ah’s digital single ‘Love Virus’ will be released on various online sites on Christmas Eve.

PS1. He bought 1 mil won worth of various kinds of books including books on wine. ^^

PS2. According to a male staff member, who loaded the books into his car, he said to him, "Thank you." personally. He said that he was kind and gentle. Of course..

PS3. His manager politely refused to allow autographs because it might have interfered with the shopping and would have made a fuss.

PS4. But, he autographed a girl's picture of himself.

PS5. I was sad because i couldn't call him "hyeong" and pretend to ignore him. However being a fan, I didn't want his shopping experience to be uncomfortable.

PS6. But, I think it was absolutely right for him to have signed the girl's picture because only the truly devoted fans carry his pictures around.

when i first saw the photo above i was reminded immediately of this photo that came out about 2 years ago [is this from GQ or Leslie Kee?]

isn't it that it's the same shirt? if yes, then i guess the AB is still using old photo of yong joon on their HP. wink.gif hee, aren't we getting excited? hehehe...it was only yesterday that he had a photoshoot for the catalog. smile.gif biggrin.gif

Japan Plans Bae Yong-joon Festival

A Japanese satellite broadcasting company is planning to open the Bae Yong-joon Festival next year. Starting in January and lasting for three months, the festival will be hosted by Sky Perfect Communications in Japan and feature Bae’s dramas and major TV appearances. The announcement was made on Bae’s Japanese homepage.

During the festival, Japanese fans will be able to see his signature dramas like “The Legend (a.k.a. Four Gods)” and “Winter Sonata,” as well as his old TV appearance in “The Famous Roll up Their Sleeves.” Also scheduled for the festival are video clips from the events related to “The Legend” and an in-depth documentary on Bae shot during his visit to Japan.

Meanwhile, Bae has been keeping busy attending a number of year-end functions. He’s also scheduled to give an award at the 2008 MBC Drama Awards. The award ceremony will be telecast live on December 30.

BYJ appeared with his friend Ryu Seung Soo after Kang YoHwan sang the opening song, the theme from "Hotelier". BYJ and RSS appeared a few times, mostly towards the end of the event. They appeared again after Ryu sang 3 songs (WLS theme, My Memory, and a new song composed by himself). Then, they picked the number for the raffles. Unfortunately, only 3 lucky fans went home with BYJ's signature on the event's pamphlet which BYJ wrote on the spot after hearing the names of the fans.

I manage to take these pics after about 2 hrs. Btw, the event lasted for about 2 hrs and 15 minutes.

another news that came out today is the the 8 page 14 day special photos and report of yong joon that will be featured in nikkan sports this coming sunday. the special feature will be sold this coming sunday at the christmas event venue.

i remember in kyocera that nikkan also released a special issue on yong joon on the day of the twssg premium event. i've that newspaper ^^

news about yong joon making a cf for Sky Perfect Communication graced some japanese news papers and tv news today.

"BYJ festival" special campaign will be held from new year (jan. 1st) to the end of March.From May, 2007 this company began holding important theme "00 Festival" monthly for Johnny Depp, Bito Takeshi, Harrison Ford, etc. Although an important theme is decided every month and "00 Festival" is held,this is the first time that it will be held for consecutive 3 months period.

"Although the impression of sports related contents was strong until now and there were many male televiewers, it attracted female views as well because of the Hallyu Wave. Especially because BYJ's influence is huge and respect was gained it was explained that this is an exceptional case."

The program was prepared for this campaign to include his past works and previous exclusive interviews. 3 types of CM will also be aired. It seems that the plan will cover the past and most latest BYJ. CM was filmed in a studio in Seoul suburbs for about 8 hours last month. The picture in tuxedo is said to be taken at the CM Venue to be aired in January. During the filming of the CF Making, BYJ spoke all the dialogue in Japanese language.
