today, yong joon came to the beauty salon. he showed his face to the family in front of the salon. he came at about 1:30 pm and left at 2:35 pm. he is wearing the usual hat and he wore a light shaded sunglasses that's why his face can be seen clearly. he was wearing black coat. he came out of the salon, rode into the car and left.
yong joon also went to gorilla right after he left the salon. He came out of gorilla at 7:45 pm. He greeted the waiting family and left riding the Maybach.

it's really confirmed...straight from the horse's mouth as they say. i'm really excited about this project. they've a good concept and certainly targeting the young people. there's too much things to look forward too in 2009 and much more in 2010. i hope with all these commitments yong joon will stay healthy.

In 2009, Bae Yong Joon and Park Jin Young will produce the first Korean drama based on a performing arts school.
The Asian cultural content company Keyeast (www.keyeast.co.kr) officially announced on January 6, 2009 that it has entered into an agreement to produce the television series with the music production and management company JYP Entertainment (www.jype.com).
The television series, which has tentatively been given the title Dream High, will show the growth of the school's students as they share diverse experiences and overcome difficulties and conflicts. This project has attracted much attention in the entertainment world. Viewers are expected to see an entertaining program of singing and dance performances. In addition, people are excited about the prospect of being able to see what actually happens in the Korean entertainment industry.
The largest shareholders of Keyeast and JYP Entertainment, Bae Yong Joon and Park Jin Young respectively, have shown much interest in the project and they will directly participate in the production process. There is much anticipation as to the synergy effects resulting from the combination of two of the most influential stars in and out of Korea.
Bae Yong Joon will participate in the planning, scripting, and producing of the television series, while Park Jin Young will participate in the planning process plus the writing, composing, arranging of music and the vocal and dance training of the young stars. In addition, the parties are in talks, which have been going well, about the possible appearance in the television series by both of them.
Keyeast and JYP Entertainment will establish a limited liability company this month in which both companies will contribute capital and through which the parties will proceed with all matters related to the television series, such as casting, auditions, and production.
There are many reasons behind the excitement for this project. First, Keyeast and JYP Entertainment plan to discover new entertainers, who excel at singing and acting, through large-scale auditions. In addition, the two companies will work together in producing derivative sources of income by means of exploiting other areas of business, including merchandising, music sales, the soundtrack, copyright licenses, and set construction.
A spokesperson for Keyeast stated that both companies are excited about and have agreed to create content, which is based on the Korean format but which will be popular worldwide, through the combination of the network and know-how of both companies, which are leaders in the entertainer management business and which have experience entering into the US and Japanese markets. The spokesperson then stated that through thorough planning regarding the domestic and foreign markets based on the management experience of both companies, we will create content which will have appeal in all parts of the world.
A spokesperson for JYP Entertainment said that we are very happy to be able to enter into the video entertainment field, for which we have always had much interest, with a reputable partner, and as an indication of the high level of our interest in this project, Park Jin Young has said that he wants to be personally in charge of the production and directing with respect to the music and choreography of the television series. The spokesperson then went on to say that we will devote all of our energies to the television series, which will be one of our key projects in 2009.
The industry is very excited and curious about how both companies will approach this television show model, which has been utilized in other foreign markets to produce new stars and chart-topping soundtracks.
Keyeast and JYP Entertainment are planning to broadcast Dream High in the first half of 2010.

with only 2 episodes of BOF already shown [every monday and tuesday @ 9:55pm on KBS] the cute drama is making teenagers and every fangirl giddy. well amongst the 4 pretty boys of the drama, i particulary like lee min ho[i see a star in a making],kim bum[i'm impressed in his portrayal of the teenage ssh in EOE and i love his cute smile], and kim hyung jung[the leader of boyband SS501]. the other fellow which i don't know much is kim joon[from anotherboyband] oh btw, i read somewhere that kim bum is said to be the next bae yong joon and that kim hyung jung is also being groomed as the next yonsama. [not sure how true is the latter]^^

do you know that some viewers of BOF said that kim hyung jung of SS501 who plays the role of yoon ji hoo [Hanazawa Rui in the japanese version and Huazelei in the taiwanese version] has some similarities with yong joon? well, actually this is not the very first time i've encountered such comment, i've seen several too during the twssg days.

as for the wedding, like what i posted on soompi, there was a confusion on the date posted on the net. some say it's the 10th some it's the 11th. hee, i admit, i waited on the 10th but when 3 o'clock came i knew then that i've the wrong date ^^. the following day, i was expecting to see yong joon. the articles said that the wedding is at 3pm. i'm was already in front of my computer as early as ...

btw, i'm sure had yong joon attended the wedding i won't be able to finish what i've to finish over the weekend due to the tons and tons of photos. anyway, since yong joon was not around for the media to feast on, the shutterbugs busied themselves taking photos of [from most to the least photographed from my observation] song seung hun, probably due to the recently mbc drama awards and east of eden lee byung hun, who is said to be the 2nd biggest hallyu star after yong joon park yong ha, wls and the most recently drama on air where he won together with his co-stars sohn ye jin, summerscent [my 2nd least fave amongs the four season dramas] choi ji woo only had 2 photos and only her back view was taken same with song hye kyo.
won bin the other hallyu star was not around to attend as well.

On the 6th, Park Jin Young’s management company, JPY Entertainment, officially announced by saying, ‘The joint contract was made with Bae Yong Joon’s Keyeast to produce the drama.’ ‘Dream High (tentative name)’, which JYP Entertainment and Keyeast produce jointly, is the drama about the stories of the students who are growing with incidents and conflicts that happen at the entertainment and art school. It’s a theme that can show the real aspect of local entertainment industries with fun things to watch like singing, dancing and acting.
Especially, PJY and BYJ, who are the major shareholders of both companies, are interested in this project a lot and are planning to participate in it directly and indirectly, and this draws more attention from the industries.
The staff of JYP said, ‘PJY will participate in the project such as writing, composing, and arrangement of the sound, and vocal and dance – training for actors/actresses. BYJ will participate in overall drama planning and scenario, production, and so forth.’, and he added, ‘Both of them are reviewing to appear in the drama positively.’
JYP Entertainment and Keyeast plan to invest jointly and set up the limited liability company within January and they plan to precede all the works which are related to the drama such as casting, audition and production through this company. And both companies will recruit the talented new actors/actresses, singers, and entertainers who will participate in the drama through a big-scale audition.
The staff of JYP Entertainment said, ‘We were interested in the entertainment visual industry and are so happy to work with a good partner for the opportunities to move into it.’, and ‘PJY is much interested in this project and willing to take charge of production and directing music and choreography for the drama. The staff of Keyeast said, ‘Both companies have strengths in the management of actors/actresses (acting) and singers (pop) and experiences moved into the Japanese and American markets. We agreed to combine our know-hows and networks of both companies and make the Korean-style killer contents which can compete worldwide.'
The drama ‘Dream High’, JYP Entertainment and Keyeast produce jointly, is planned to be aired in the first half of 2010.
i learned that yong joon is in guam doing a photoshoot. i actually i read this last night on byjfan but not sure if it's true. since it's been reported in innolife, well, i guess it must really be true.
in another news, it seems that yong joon won't be the endorser of kyeongnam enterprise anymore. it's in the news today that he did not renew his contract after being the endorser of the firm for the last five [5] years. it looks also like the the firm won't be using a celebrity model as endorser in their future ads. i believe the kyeongnam is one company that he endorsed for the longest time. and i bet that he did not disappoint kyeongnam. ^^
looks like yong joon left the country on 1.03.09 at approximately 21:30 via korean air. not sure though where he is going. hope we'll get the full details later. likewise, i hope that yong joon will have a good time.
wonder if someone got a photo or there's already some baefans somewhere who already know where he's landing and planning to welcome him. ^^

Meanwhile, Park Jin-Young secured a foothold in the U.S. market by launching JYP USA, the American division of JYP Entertainment, in New York in 2007.

It's because 2/3 of the audience (not the actors, but the fans who came to cheer) were actually people from Japan who came to support BYJ. (correct me if I'm wrong on the Japanese fans coming to see BYJ. I know for sure that 2/3 of the audience were fans from Japan, but I'm not hundred percent sure that they came for BYJ. But Korean Netizens are saying that they came for BYJ, and some of the articles I read seem to prove it, so.. And BYJ is being cursed a lot by the Korean Netizens.. along with SoJiSup.) 1/3 of the audience at the front were hired fans (koreans) who led the clappings so the Japanese fans at the back would know when to clap. "You" refers to the fake, hired fans, and "they" refers to MBC which really wants Japanese fans for the HanRyoo YulPoong.

First of all, I would like to show my gratitude for you all. I received everyone of more than 2000 letters you sent to me last summer.
It was an opportunity for me to deliberate regarding your love and interest about Korea. I’m happily making a book with the thought of traveling together with you while planning a book and considering all the opinions. It’s not easy because it was the first time for me, but it’s a good way to learn from it.
You might be curious about what kind of book will be published, but it looks like it is in between being a travel guide book, which introduces Korean culture, and a book of humanism.
By discovering hidden cultures of Korea and secret locations, I would like to make a book that anyone can look at enjoyably. I am finding the strength through all the new pIaces, people and experiences. Now that the New Year is beginning, looking back on the memories of the past year is making me feel happier.
Even at this moment, when I am thinking of all the new events and what new times I can spend with the members of the family, my heart is beating from excitement. I think there are definitely lots of times that help create the heart that is the fence of what a family is. I am sure that even in 2009, I will be lucky to have that same, warm family that I can think about at the times that I am sad or struggling; and I am always thankful for that.
I think last year was generally a difficult and strenuous time for the world. In 2009, I am hoping that the year will bring happiness and allow everyone, not just the Family, to accomplish all that we wish for. And I truly wish that everyone’s families are also always happy and healthy together.
