[Short Article] Jung Min congratulated Kara

iamsom tweeted last weekend that Jung Min [who is in Japan since Friday] went to give support during Kara's handshake event in Japan last Saturday. It was also mentioned that Jung Min shook hands with some fans and even took some photos.

Today, in SS601 there's an article telling us about it and xiaochu of Quainte501 translated what was posted on SS601 on their forum. Much thanks xiaochu!

Abstract only

KARA, Handshake session a ‘Huge Success’ with 10,000 fans.

According to KARA’s management company DSP Media on 16-Aug, KARA held their first single sale commemoration hand-shake session on 14-Aug at Shinkiba Studio, Tokyo, Japan.

DSP Media side said “With 2 sessions in one day, there are 5,000 fans attending to each of these hand-shake sessions, totaling to 10,000 fans. It was very crowded in the event venue, and there are fans who are unable to get in, even the counterparts in Japan were surprised by it.” He added “Japan’s popular comedian Gekidan Hitori, who was well known to be an enthusiactic fan of KARA, wore a purple colored t-shirt with words ‘I Love KARA’ on it and attended both sessions. SS501’s Park JungMin who was in Japan at that time also supported and congratulated his juniors KARA in advancing into Japan. KARA members are extremely grateful to him.”

Even though he's no longer in DSP, still he went to support his juniors. I really love him THAT much ^^

I'm sorry in advance if I offend anyone. But why do I feel like DSP abandon SS501 in order to promote KARA (and maybe Rainbow) just like how DSP abandon A'st1 before. I feel like DSP just want to promote girl groups because that is the trend in Korean right now. :(

I'm glad that DSP still associates Jung Min name with SS501. But to me it's bitter sweet because it is yet again DSP using SS501 name to help promote KARA.

Also 5,000 fans in two sessions doesn't equal 10,000 in the idol world. Most likely, more than half of the fans show up to both sessions.

It's great that Jung Min supports KARA on their japan debut, that just shows that the boys, probably all five of them did not leave DSP on bad terms like some other bands...besides they spent almost 8 years, 10 years for baby in DSP, i think they still have respect for the company that created them...i think kyusaeng went to support kara when they had the little trip to Japan ^^ DSP love is truly amazing, i can feel the sincerity since they don't need to take pictures with each other everyday to show their 'love' unlike some LOL
