only a week and the book is on its 10th run!

I'm so happy about this news that cam translated and shared on BYJ's Quilt. Much thanks cam!

I can't wait to get my book [hangul version] and I will definitely going to get the English version too when it is out.

Btw, the book is sooooo cheap with 400 pages of glossy paper and photos of Yong Joon. It's less than $25 if you buy it in Korea.

BYJ’s travelogue is reaching record breaking sales levels. The pre-order sales already on its 4th printing run, but just one week after initial sale, the book is already on its 10th printing run.

The book is currently the top selling travel book in Kyobo bookstores, ranking number 2 in the online shopping site ‘Inter Park’, it has become a 100% best seller. Its first overseas’ batch in Japanese also sold out, and the rush to print the 2nd batch is underway in Korea. According to market research, its popularity was mainly due to BYJ having left behind his stardom, applying the delicate vision and honest pen strokes of an ordinary person, which has not only touched his fans, but has also won the heart of everyday readers.

A spokesman of the publication of stated that “ this book differs from others as its printing quality has extremely high standards. Therefore we need to double the printing time normally required. The orders are a street long coming from the bookstores continuously. The factory could not close during Chosek (mid-autumn festival holiday) and is in 24 hour non-stop production. Many book stores had to put up emergency sold out notices. We are expecting to have enough supply after Chosek."

Apart from the explosive sale breaking records in the Korean version and in the Japanese version, there is also an endless stream of inquiries regarding the English version.
