jung min got a lapin?

Remember the entry of Royal Avenue blog that Jung Min went to E-Mart at dawn to go to a pet shop to look for a lapin [French of rabbit] but went home empty handed because the shop was closed. Well, there's an entry again today and it looks like that he went back to E-Mart on the same day. ^^

Here's that post on RoyalAve blog. Thanks to Darling of SS601.com for sharing this.

Quick news on SS501

As several news are out today, let me give you a summary of what I've been reading so far.

There will be a fan signing event on the 28th of May for those buying Destination via Yes24. But it's lottery... so good luck to the lucky fans!

DSP President is still undergoing medical treatment after he had fallen ill more than a month ago. From reports he's recovering well.

With regard to the contract of the boys, it was being reported that they're waiting for President Lee's recovery before resuming talks about contract [i've guessed this]. As for SS501, it is said that they're quite affected with all the rumors going around about contract.

[Pix] Hyun Joong Promotes "Cartier Love Day" Charity Event

Major handsomeness!

That's my initial thought when I saw this post of Marvie. Then I told myself that I don't think this post needs written text from me. ^_^ But on second thought I need to inform you what this is all about, yah?

Anyway, from what I read this is another charity event that Hyun Joong and some other stars will be participating in from June 4 to 13. Cartier on the dates I mentioned will have a charity event called 'Cartier's Love Day' at Cheongdam Maison Cartier boutiques. In this event photos of celebrities will be exhibited with Cartier's love collection.

It’s been a long time~~
Right!! Thank you for all the concerns to HyunJoong hyung.. hm.. though this is not a happy situation, or rather it is an upsetting situation..
With all the concerns from many of you, HyunJoong hyung will be fine right away!! Isn’t it?^^
Haha~ hm hm we 501.. are diligently in the midst of preparation ^^
We really prepared a lot.
Leading his aching body, leader HyunJoong hyung is also working hard, our YoungSaeng hyung is perspiring profusely and working hard too!
Our horse JungMin is also working even more seriously than usual!
Our magnae HyungJoon plays pranks... ah... what to do with this guy... heeheehee
Just joking~ HyungJoon is more quick-witted than others, so he does radio shows and learns the chorography fast and practices it~~
Now, today it rained ^^ On rainy days, the basement practice room will become damp so it gets stuffy..
When I come out after practice ends, got touched by the rain a little, it feels very refreshing as compared to other rains ^^ hee
Hm Hm.. Living a life and always going on as planned isn’t interesting at all isn’t it? ^^ Sometimes there can be a variable~
That will be interesting.. ^^ Let us put our two hands together and pray together for HyunJoong hyung to recover quickly hee
And put two hands together to pray again for other members not to fall sick ^^!

Oh dear, i want to go here. Can I? Can I? Getting super excited just by thinking about it. I wish that the top that I've been eyeing for is still there.

Photos lifted from Royal Avenue blog.

[Pix] Want to know what jung min did this dawn today?

Much thanks to Lois for re-posting this on her blog and giving us an idea what Jung Min was doing.

This set of photos was posted today on Royal Avenue and according to Lois, Jung Min went today at dawn [5AM] at a pet shop at E-mart to adopt a lapin [rabbit in French]. Apparently the shop was not yet open and he went back empty handed [that's the reason for the cute facial expression].

[Article] Comeback Album : Destination

Found translation of the news I read earlier on SS601.com. thanks to DKPOPNEWS for this and to bb for reposting on lovekimhyunjoong forum.

The boys I think heard the request of fans to include 'Crazy 4U' in the new album. ^_^

Btw, in this article it says that the release is 31st of May. ^^

SS501 new album DESTINATION to be released on May 31

Korean idol group SS501 is gearing up for a comeback with their upcoming new album "DESTINATION" due out May 31, according to their agency DSP Entertainment on Tuesday.

DSP explained in a press release that some of the most talented musicians in Korea, Europe and the U.S., including prominent Korean-American music producer Steven Lee, collaborated to create the new album.

Lee, who had written and arranged all the tracks in the group's previous album also composed the title track, named "REBIRTH,""Love Ya," in the new album.

All the songs in "DESTINATION" have been arranged to piano accompaniments while incorporating a minimum of electronic sounds that are prevalent in current K-pop music.

Some of the songs included in the record are R&B tune "Let Me Be The One" and a dance number called "Crazy 4 U," which was performed by the band during their "PERSONA Asia Tour" but left out on the previous album. Fans are said to have requested that SS501 include this particular track on the new album.

SS501, who debuted in 2005 with single "Warning," made a successful comeback to the music scene last October, topping various music charts with their second mini-album "Rebirth".

They kicked off their "1st Asia Tour Persona" in Seoul last August and went on to perform in Tokyo, Taipei, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

The five member group are scheduled to give a comeback performance on KBS' "Music Bank" on June 4.

comeback album details

There is actually a news that came out already on this but I'm too tired to make a long post. Geez, this day seems to be so tiring... the accident, the album and my work. I really need a break soon.

As what the title of this post says, here's a bit of a details about the album that I read.

Comeback Album Title > Destination
Carrier Single > Love Ya
Producer > Steven Lee

As we all know already, another song from the album will be sang at Dream Concert on Saturday, they will be singing, 'Let Me Be The One', a slow song.

[Article] a promise to the fans

Alright this is the article I read when I said on the side bar that the boys might only be promoting for 3 weeks or until the end of June. Really do hope that they'll continue to promote forever.

Thanks xiaochu for the translation on Quainte501!.

05/18 [news] SS501, Reason for them to continue activities after contract ends on 7-June is?

Credits : kulkuri7@joongang.co.kr + SS601.com + (English Translation) xiaochu @ Quainte501.com

REPOST WITH FULL CREDITS ONLY

With the constant subject of disbanding, group SS501’s contract with their management company will end on 7-June, however they had came to an agreement to continue with their activities until end of June.

SS501 will release a mini album on 28-June and start with their activities at the same time. SS501 leader, Kim HyunJoong as well as the other members’ contracts will end on 7-June, however the album activities will not be affected by their contract expiration.

Kim HyunJoong who rocketed to stardom, the questions on his position made many observed, ‘Isn’t SS501’s album activities is filled with strangeness?”.

Management company DSP Media Choi SungPil said on 17-May “Whether Kim HyunJoong as well as all the rest of the members were to re-contract or not, it (the contract expiration) will be postponed to end of June after they finish with their album activities. There is absolutely no problem on their album activities.” He added “Our Company has considered and prepared to compensate them for the activities done after their contract expiration on 7-June.”

The reason for SS501 to continue with their activities after SS501 contract expires is because of their promise to their fans. SS501 who has been engaged with overseas activities last year, promised their fans at the end of last year “We will have our activities for our Korean fans with our new album.” The CEO of their management company who has supported them for the past 5 years, is struggling against illness, thus they have a mutual understanding that they will not be rushing on this matter.

The boys who have completed their recordings, will shoot their music video on 19th in GyungGi-do, and the album will be released on 28-May. Starting with KBS 2TV ‘Music Bank’ on 4-June, they will continue with broadcast activities for 3 weeks. They will also attend Dream Concert on 22-May held at Seoul SangAm-dong World Cup Stadium.

Meanwhile Kim HyunJoong met with a car collision accident on 12-May night at Jamsil, Seoul, near his house. He suffered bruised ribs and abrasions and required 2 weeks to recover. Management company explained “The injury will not at all affect their activities.”

[Article] Comeback in end of May

Alright, I mentioned earlier that the release of the album is on the 28th of May. This is what a gathered from a friend in Korea. This report though said otherwise. Whatever the date in May for so long it'll be out, I'm fine.

Thanks again for xiaochu for translating this and sharing on Quainte501.

5 member popular idol group SS501 will have their full comeback by end of this month, joining the music industry’s ‘Big Bang’ in May.

SS501 leader Kim HyunJoong met with a car accident and suffered bruised ribs, which requires 2 weeks to fully recover.
