Kim Hyun Joong's Most Difficult Scene

Have you seen episode 19 of 'Boys Over Flowers'? I'm sure you were impressed with the acting of Kim Hyun Joon as Ji Hoo in the heavy rain scene.

The above scene was after grandpa walks in the clinic and catches Ji Hoo by surpised. Grandpa after seeing Ji Hoo whom he has been estrange for fifteen years struggles to make an apology to is grandson for leaving him.

Grandpa : You must have hated me. It's not your fault.

Ji Hoo [without turning to face grandpa] : You should have said that fifteen years ago. Do you know how much that child waited for you? You don't know, do you, how much that boy wanted to cry and be held in his grandfather's arm!"

Ji Hoo then runs outside into the rain, hid himself from Jan Di then remembered the painful memories of this parents' funeral.

According to Kim Hyun Joong who gave an interview on the 7th with Japan broadcasting company TBS in Seoul, the rain scene is the most difficult scene for him. This is also the scene that left him with the deepest impression. He is hoping that the viewers will like it. [Hyun Joongie, you impressed us with your acting. For a beginner you're really doing very well.]

For the filming of the rain scene Hyun Joong had to stand in the rain in the outdoor set for almost an hour. And for a neophyte actor, it is not easy for him to bear the cold temperature and to be drenched in the rain and acting out the inner feelings.

p.s. i just read another news and this is quite interesting because again, i see the similarity between yong joon and hyun joong.

there is a news in newsis today that say, hyun joongie was seen buying a phone that he and his other co-stars in BoF are endorsing. the phone is Anycall's Haptic Pop phone.

according to DSP, whenever KHJ likes someting he buys it himself. likewise, he doesn't like accepting expensive gifts from fans. it's enough that fans like SS501 music. :) hee, i think that's the best present for him coming from fans. supporting SS501's music.

quite similar with yong joon, right? it was earlier revealed that yong joon doesn't want to 'take home' clothes that he modeled or used in cfs like some other stars. if he likes any of them he buys them off the rack. also, yong joon always tell fans not to give him expensive gifts or not to send him gifts anymore.
