Fans of SS501 are already familiar with Hyun Joong's rocker look. But for those who only got to know him in 'We Got Married' may find him as humorous, straightforward, doesn't like to be cheezy and 4 dimensional. While those who discovered him only in 'Boys Over Flowers' find him caring, gentle and every woman's dream man.
When he debuted, he actually really wanted to be a rocker, but DSP said no. Setting aside his aspiration to become a rock star he was teamed up with SS501. But despite of being a member of a boyband, his heart still remains to be a rocker. Btw, he got into trouble with his family because of his passion with band/guitar.
He loves Seo Tae Ji and still dreaming of meeting him. He likes the songs of Radiohead particulary the song 'Creep'. He has a vast collection of guitars and even tried to locate unique guitar when he went to Japan the last time.
He admitted to interviews that spent lots of time learning to play the guitar and that he's good in strumming, plucking, lead and whatever other antics that one can do with guitar. He also said that he's pretty good with bass.

I'm not sure though if video and bass in this video are not sync or there's another one playing the bass. But he surely does play really well. Hehehe, and at the end of the performance he even threw the pick to the crowd. ^^
