Thanks God it's Friday! And tomorrow is going to be the much awaited time for TS in the Philippines. It's going to be the 1st fan meeting of any of SS501 members in the Philippines. Tomorrow at 6:30pm at The Forum of the PICC Kyu Jong and Young Saeng & Story in Manila will happen. If you don't have your tix yet go and get them. Try not to miss this chance.

Bbeen really busy for the last couple of days. Was out the whole day yesterday and today though I was supposed to be on leave I had to work and meet with a business partner. Luckily thought that the venue of the meeting was at the same hotel where the boys are staying. Saw them actually leaving the hotel [entourage] for their appointment at lunch time at he parking lot where I was parking but it's was a quick. When I left the hotel for another appointment, they're not back yet. Btw, saw some TS but couldn't talk to them much. Sorry... hope to see some of you tomorrow.

Anyway, I'm just starting to check on what I have missed again today. Saw the vid in Showtime but still looking for a clear one. Will make a post about that later. [Article] SS501’s Kim Kyu Jong and Heo Young Saeng open up about their love lives and career plans for 2011

Push.com.ph had the chance to get up close and personal with Kim Kyu Jong and Heo Young Saeng of the K-pop band SS501 who arrived in Manila yesterday, February 3. This is the last leg of their Asian tour and so far they’re really enjoying the warm welcome of the Filipino people. “It’s our first visit here in the Philippines. The cool breeze is really nice and near our hotel we can see the sea and it’s really good. We hope to come here for vacation again soon. We can’t say the exact places that we’d like to go to since we’re not familiar with the place, but we’d like to tour the city and see more of the people here,” said the two through their English translator.

When asked about their previous Asian tours, Kyu Jong shared that one of their most unforgettable experiences was when they learned to prepare a Thai dish. “In our Thailand fan meeting, we had the chance to cook Thai food. And since we’re not that good in cooking, we really felt nervous and excited at the same time. We tried to feed our fans and they say that it’s delicious. We’re not sure [if they’re telling the truth] but we’re happy that they enjoyed the food that we prepared,” he happily related. There was one incident in Japan, however, that really had him worried because a female fan suddenly fainted due to the crowded “handshake session.”

Although the group SS501 is still intact, each of the members is currently working on their solo careers. Their fellow member Kim Hyun Joong is probably the most popular among them after he starred in Korean dramas such as Boys Over Flowers and Playful Kiss. But Kyu Jong has decided to pursue acting as well and he has been busy with intensive workshops lately. “I’m trying hard to practice my acting skills. There’s no specific project yet but I am very excited to work with any actress in whichever role that will be given to me,” said Kyu Jong whose favorite Hollywood actor is Johnny Depp.

As for Young Saeng, various K-pop websites have already reported that he’s coming up with his first solo album this month. And it actually generated a lot of positive feedback from his fans since he’s said to be gifted with clear and powerful vocals. “I’m preparing to release my debut album this month and I am really hoping that people will look forward to it. Just like ‘Because I’m Stupid (theme for the Boys Over Flowers series performed by SS501), I’ll try my best to come up with a song that can be used as a theme for a Korean drama in the future, but right now there are no plans.”

Push.com.ph also asked them if they’re dating someone right now. Kyu Jong and Young Saeng were quick to say that they’re both single, mainly because of their hectic work schedule. “It’s not that we don’t want to meet [a potential] girlfriend, given a chance we’d like to meet girls. But right now, we’re focusing on our solo activities. So if we meet someone special, we won’t be able to focus on our work. So for now, we want to focus on our solo activities,” Young Saeng explained.

The two dashing SS501 members couldn’t help but laugh though when prodded about the number of girls they’ve dated in the past. Young Saeng easily said that he had had four girlfriends while Kyu Jong seemed to be the certified ladies’ man since he could no longer remember whether he also had four or more. When asked to describe his ideal girl, Young Saeng replied, “I haven’t really thought about it. I’m quite picky though.” Kyu Jong was sure with his answer this time around. “I like someone who’s friendly, pretty, and kind,” he added.
