It's already midnight 1 a.m. After a long wait, KHJ finally arrived at the Vogue studio with his entourage. He should be feeling very exhausted since he had an early flight and attended a full day of working activities. Can't tell much from his facial expressions. After a simple greeting, KHJ quietly sat down and got his makeover done.

The studio was buzzing with activity. Many people were talking in korean and chinese and it seemed a little chaotic. However, KHJ remained calm and unaffected by the buzz around him. He seemed to be absorbed in a world of his own.

If there was a ticket which can be used to exchange for something, KHJ wished to change for a comfortable bed which he could fall asleep immediately upon lying down on it. If there is a passage of time, he wished to be able to go back to the past and to travel to the future. "The thing I most wish for to be invented is the Time Machine. I wish to travel to the universe to personally confirm the existence of aliens." And if one could live his life once again, KHJ said he would rather focus on the present than to relive his life. "Focusing on the present is very important to me, no matter what I have gone through in the past or what I will experience in the future, I feel that the present is the most important. Knowing how to make the most out of things and valuing the present, this is my philosophy in life."

Because of taking up the role of Yoon Ji Hoo in "Boys over flowers", KHJ rapidly rose to fame. His perfect features and the melancholy hidden behind his smile make KHJ the real life version of "Rui" in the comics. Though this is his first formal acting role in a drama and an important turning point in his life as an artiste, in KHJ's heart, it is music which opened a door to another life for him.

The word "SS501" constantly appeared in his responses during the interview. Eg. He hopes that the SS501 1st Asia tour will be a success. He hopes that through the Asia tour, his fans can get to see a different SS501 and a different side to KHJ. His most memorable performance was when SS501 performed on stage the first time. He felt very nervous then, but at the end of the performance, the feelings of excitement and being emotionally moved were beyond words. From the days of forming the group SS501 till now, the five boys had gone through many challenges in terms of music and getting along with each other. All these challenges helped me learn and also overcome difficulties. "Times are bad now and people feel oppressed, though we cannot offer actual help, I hope that our music can bring joy to everyone. And, if we can make people happy, this will make me feel very happy too."

Contrary to his perfect innocence, KHJ had gone through many dramatic twists in his life before being an artiste. In his high school days, because he was exposed to the music of the great Godfather of Korean music, Xu Tai Zhi, KHJ was greatly affected and realised that he could experience another world through music. He also realised that his life had changed and therefore set up his mind to pursue a career in music. To pursue his dream, KHJ ran away from home and worked in many places, hoping to earn a lot of money. He worked in many different jobs and experienced cold, hunger, and even had a few brushes with death. Perhaps it was due to such experiences, or perhaps it was his character, KHJ is able to traverse the between the worlds of reality and fantasy. He is able to plan his life rationally and realise his dream a step at a time. He knows how to create and make the most out of opportunities he had. However, his mind often carries wild notions of outer space and aliens. He would sometimes imagine as if it was a game. "I frequently voice out my current thoughts, but others seem to think I'm strange." KHJ seems puzzled by this. However, it is a good thing that this trait of his (being 4D) brings joy to people.

Every second in life evokes the desire to create. In every corner of life, there are details which evokes deep thoughts. "Music is my life, my everything. Life without will be monotonous and boring." To try out real rock music is a dream he vows to make real. To lead a carefree life and to do the things he wants to, these are the happiness KHJ wants. At his current position, KHJ strives to do his best.
