SS501 member Kim KyuJong’s first acting experience for webtoon drama ‘SETI’ received 700,000 views within 5 days upon its release of episode 1.
‘SETI’ is written by author Yoon TaeHo, famous for comic ‘The Moss’, its episode 1 recorded 700,000 views, notably more popular than ‘The Moss’ which recorded 450,000 views. Webtoon drama ‘SETI’, which debuted on 6-Oct through portal site Daum’s In the World of Comic, is an astronomical fantasy about searching for extra-terrestrial intelligence, the first ever combination of both comic and video format.
Kim KyuJong, whose first filming was a kiss scene, shot the cute kiss scene with Seo HyoRim who acts as his girlfriend. There were rumors that he made quite a number of NGs due to stress and nervousness. This series ‘SETI’ will be released every Tuesdays and Fridays with a total of 16 episodes, will continue until end of November.
Coming 13-Oct, episode 3 of the series shows Kim KyuJong’s 2nd kiss scene with the request from his girlfriend Seo HyoRim, who yearns to receive a gift of ring and kiss.
Meanwhile, news of SS501’s comeback was known with the release of the album jacket photo of their mini album ‘REBIRTH’ set to go on sale on 20-Oct. Members’ individual shots will be released on 14th and 16th.

Am really happy Kyu's first acting experience got off to a great start, even though it is for webtoon and each epi is just for slighly more than 1 min.
Haha though Kyu may have gotten many NGs for his first kiss, but it did finally came out very very dizzily nice as well and that is really good for him. I can really see him being so talented in this too. Really proud of him and he is really such an adorable cutie!
I dont like the idea of Kyu kissing onscreen but who am I to say he can't? the least i can do as a follower is to support him and his dreams-acting is one...provided that the story is done properly and if the script calls for a "bobo" (as long as its not torrid/cheap, sighs) i'll forego it....on the other hand, i am glad that the 1st epi of SETI had a lot of viewers...let's continue to watch it then, shall we? (A)
