This is not the first time the Yong Joon extended a helping hand to those who are in need. There are also instances that when he does endorsements attached to it are programs that will benefit some institutions. His fans from different countries also do charity works.
I'll be posting here for the meantime the gist of the news that Mariko shared on BYJ thread @ soompi until someone does the translation in any of the BYJ sites. Much thanks Mariko!
World Vision distributed 300 million won of our BYJ's donation in 2005. During the first stage, 200 million won was donated to the disaster victims of the damaged countries, such as Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, and Thailand for a period of 6 months.
The remaining 100 million won was used to the earthquake victims in Sri Lanka. Secondary school was reconstructed and expanded by adding new school buildings at Matara and Weligama Districts.
There were 580 students and teachers using three buildings, and there are only four restrooms at the time of on-site investigation. The classrooms did not have a partition making it difficult to study because of the noise and narrow space. Moreover, the native type restrooms were in the inferior state which does not have even a roof for women and did not have water connection.
World Vision provided new toilets with lavatories and additional 10 more classrooms.
They will be adding some more classrooms that are still lacking.
Not only this, 563 students were provided with bags, uniforms and school supplies.
BYJ said "When I see the appearance of the young students I feel happy to have participated in the donation from the heart. I'd like to return love to many people and I am anticipating to see more good outcome because I received much love from Asia."
Here are photos of the restored classroom and school.

Hi!
I like the way BYJ return his glory to the people who really in needs, priority first the young one's who needs education in order to upgrade themselves and in return share their learning to others without any regrets. Sharing what your learns is one of the happiest things you can do to the world.
