[Vid] Hyung Jun Gives Chuseok Greetings

Long weekend in Korea started as everyone gets ready for  Chuseok or Korean Thanksgiving Festival. This celebration is one of the most important festivals in Korea. Koreans celebrate the festival as a three-day-holidays starting from the day before until the day after Chuseok. For 2012, Chuseok falls on Sunday, 30th September 2012. Korean Thanksgiving holiday starts from Saturday, 29th September 2012 until Monday, 1st October 2012.

For the past days, there have been many stars giving their Chuseok greetings. One of them is Kim Hyung Jun who greeted fans via S-Plus portal. There were also several articles about his greetings.

The greeting was posted on his official website on th 27th of September.

Hyung Jun said 'Chuseok which is Korea's biggest holiday is approaching. I'm so happy. The first thing that came to my mind when thinking about Chuseok is songpyeon [songpyeon (송편), a crescent-shaped rice cake which is steamed upon pine needles]. I hope you make songpyeon, eat delicious food and have conversation with your family this Chuseok.'

He also went on saying that becasue of the recent typhoon, many farmers are having difficuly. He hopes that everything will be back to normal soon. He also said that he will pray for everyone to have a good time with their family.

Lastly, he said that he hopes everyone will spend Chuseok holiday by helping and loving people. He ended his greeting with 'Have a nice holiday.'

Young Saeng is back in S Korea last night after successfully concluding two concerts in Tokyo and Osaka and debuting in Japan.

I have shared much earlier, videos from his Tokyo 'Overjoyed' concert. Now, in this post let me share with you video from the Osaka concert. Big thanks to SaengieB for the upload of the videos in YouTube as well as to veggiedelight for poking me and telling me where to get the videos.

Some four hours ago, Hyung Jun tweeted a photo of a missing dog that looks like Choco. Here is translation of Hyung Jun's tweet courtesy of @xiaochu1004 on Twitter.

I believe that the dog above is not Choco.  I guess Hyung Jun is showing compassion to the  owner and tweeted the photo above to help him/her look for the dog. The owner must be missing his toy dog a lot.  I should know because last weekend I got a scare too when I though that my pug was missing after drying her after she took a bath.  I look all over our house, garage, backyard and even went outside to look for her and asked around if they saw a small dog.  Lucky after looking for her for 30 minutes I found my Coco underneath the bed of my brother sleeping soundly. Whew!

Alright enough of that. ^_^

A few hours after Hyung Jun tweeted,  Jung Min went to Twitter and tweeted that he is zipping off to somewhere.  Here is Jung Min's tweet and photos taken at Gimpo Airport.  Much thanks to @shirbo21 for the translation in Twitter.

After Jung Min tweeted,  @p_jungmin43 shared on Twitter some snapshots of Jung Min as they sent him off at the airport.

As Jung Min zipped off to Japan tonight, Young Saeng on the other hand just returned to S Korea after successfully debuting in Japa with the release of his album and two concerts in Tokyo and Osaka.

[Article] PressCon for 'City Conquest' Slated in Japan in October

I shared HERE last September 20, few details about the Premium Event for 'City Conquest' in Japan sometime in January. But before that, on the 4th of October there is something that all fans of Hyun Joong must look forward to and that is a press conference for City Conquest in Japan.

The upcoming drama ‘City Conquest‘ is scheduled to hold a press conference in Japan.

Scheduled for 7PM on October 4th at Japan’s famous venue, Budokan, the large-scale showcase event will host nearly 16,000 Japanese fans along with an estimated 400 reporters from media outlets such as NHK, TBS, and FujiTV.

In particular, television station NHK has assigned a ‘documentary team’ just for the drama, proving that the drama starring Kim Hyun Joong is attracting considerable attention.

The press conference will include appearances by Kim Hyun Joong himself, co-star Jung Yu Mi, and other drama representatives. Special promotional footage will also be revealed during the event.

In addition, the showcase event will also include the 1 year anniversary celebration of Kim Hyun Joong’s fan club.

Meanwhile, the upcoming press conference is prospected to help ‘warm up’ the currently chilly relationship between South Korea and Japan, all the while playing a part in further spreading Hallyu culture.

Here is something that I picked up in Twitter which was translated by @cll_slam10 which @TingTingLoveKyu tweeted. I am not sure though whether this was during last Saturday's concert in Tokyo or last night's in Osaka.

"Young Saeng whom wanted to speak Japanese during his entire concert ~ while inviting a fan up the stage to sit ~ suddenly he said "chair" in eng. Found out that he has forgotten the japanese word for chair, everyone started laughing... after which the audience start to teach him chair = "Isu"... so cute~~~ RT @TingTingLoveKyu: 硬是全部都要用日文的永生哥~請歌迷上台坐時~就突然冒出"Chair" 原來是忘了椅子日文怎麼講, 當場快笑翻 XDDDD 然後台下大家就開始教他是 "Isu" XDDD 好可愛~"

• For Love Song, he serenaded the lucky fan who was super shy - I was like, grab his hand, woman!! LOL!
• Fell in love with 'True Tears'. Delivered powerfully with so much emotion ... 'Maria' was 'dramatic'! Almost like watching him a musical performance ... Great display of his vocals here ..
• When he went off to change, a SS501 vid was played. Cute moments from their early days ... He came back with the four dancers and they all took their turns singing each individual members' parts! Love the dance! Especially the synchronised jump!! 
• Then he mentioned SS501 and followed with a medley of the groups' Japanese singles. Cute moments in there tooo ... Hope there'll be fancams ... All My Love next. Again ... Full extend of his vocals on display ... nice when he got the audience to sing some parts of all these songs :)  
• He appeared in a bright green jacket for the encore!! Love the ' loudness' ( and maybe a homage to SS ?) Hello Mello ended the concert on a high! 
• All the songs he performed live are super damn different from cd or recorded on music shows ! Nameless Memory was breath- taking, followed by a ballad intro to Find- then it rocker saeng after intro! Ahh sorry I'm abit lost for words in my description!!!

Young Saeng dancing to Psy 'Gangnam Style'

• According to @RenriSak0830, YS sang many SS501 songs (as seen on the set list earlier)
• He sang Find rock version
• He sang 'Love Ya' with 4 dancers
• Young Saeng danced 'Gangnam Style'
• During one segment of the talk session, YS asked if fans bought his album, Fans said 'Yes'. He then asked if they've listened to it. Fans again said 'Yes' then he said 'Really?' then smiled.
• RenriSak0803 also said that YS made them cry many times.
• YS said that he will try to speak Japanese but it will give him headache because it's difficult.
• Per RenriSak0803 she thinks that YS was teary eyed when he sang 'True Tears'.
• A video was shown with SS501 in the vid.
• RenriSak0803 said that Young Saeng's concert was great.
• Last song during encore is 'Hello Mello'.  YS threw towel to fans and gave out flying kisses.

Next concert in Japan will be on the 24th of September, at ZEPP Namba in Osaka.  The concert will start at 6:30PM
