This is one of the scenes that I like much. Hyun Joong portrayal of the lead character is very different for the other 2 versions. The writer of the Korean version doesn't seem to portray him to be like as arrogant as the other 2 version. I find him to be more adorable [i'm not being baised] and his coldness fascinating.
After seeing only 3 episode, i think that the progress of Baek Seung Jo's affection to Oh Hani has more giddiness compared to the 2 other versions.
In this scene Seung Jong is cute to point out to HaNi he's not used to seeing a lively girl like HaNi in pain.

Seung Jo must love texting . Really texting or pretend-texting .Its a great ploy to show one is unaffected by what's happening around.
I still await watching the episode 3 & 4, with Eng Sub. The long teasers are there but I prefer to wait and I feel so excited like never before. This feels so good than from the beginning of the series *_*
I agree with you liezle. A manga is a piece of art, something that everyone has the freedom to interpret it in any way they want, based on their on personal experiences, etc. The Korean version is presenting a new interpretation of the manga, adding their own flavor to it. So far so good, i would think. There wouldn't be much of a point to reproduce it if all three drama adaptations did it exactly the same way. i'm liking jung so min's oh hani and leader's baek seungjo.
There will always be room for improvement...hyunjoong and janki fighting!
i read someone said the rating for eps.3 is only 3.37%.

Rating depends on the Korean viewers at large...even if most korean TS tunes in, they wouldn't make too much an impact...
under the korean rating measuring system, HJL fans can do almost nothing as you do.
in korea, only 2,000 sample house have the audience measurement machine, so if HJL fans doesn't have it, they can't help HJL.
but MK is getting better and better i think. that's important.
rating is important too, but it's not everything.
so please don't be sad or disappointed.
just trust HJL and keep and show your support to him.
HJL has a great overseas fandom, and it's one of his strenth, isn't it.
your exsist, is a great help by itself.
so just proud of yourself and keep watchig HJL with joy but not sadness.

I was wondering if that is how they did the ratings. You actually have to participate in the Nielson program! Just like in the US, completely and totally unreliable. I bet there are a whole lot more watching PK than the ratings show. They need to figure out a new way to truly judge ratings because this system is worthless.
i hope this rating is not affected HJL's to have another drama, cf, modelling, etc...i have nothing to do with the rating since i'm an international fan but i'm always praying for the mk's high ratings:-)
honestly, i felt bad to viewers in korea. they ignore this good film. if they are going to give chance to watch of this film. i'm pretty sure, they starting to love this drama.

I think MBC should by now change the time slot or else it's a wasted effort and demoralising to the entire cast and crew. If this continues, 20 epi will really have to cut short and edited to 16 epi, that will be fans' lost. It is fighting a losing battle. What are the mktg and management people of MBC doing?!
I really like this Tv series, it is very cute and intriquingly romantic.
Well, those in Korea who didn't watch it really don't know what they miss.

I am comforted by how you put things into perspective. I am one of those few very much bothered by the ratings.
Apparently the ratings are actually samples from 2000 households, hence not a great indicator of the actual ratings.
I am enjoying the drama tremendously and am very touched by the love and support shown to Hyun Joong from inside Korea and outside Korea.

第三集，最令我感受小白的演技是他背起honey，面貼面的眼神，非常濤醉的眼神，因為他本來就有意背他, 卻因為泰丘的出現，令他以為自己可以占上嶧的事，突然知道honey不是他所能掌控的人。所以背她時似乎是不甘不願，卻是令他滿足的事。
最感覺平淡而有味道的事，就是兩人在窗前聊天，有人說小白開始跟著honey走，一點也沒有錯, 他開始注意她曬黑, 明明要她搽藥早點休息，也用了冷言冷語說出來。但在交談中,小白的眼神真的轉化了，甚至是憐愛的眼神。
honey是直率的人，有甚麼說甚麼，所以小白的轉變她一點都沒有注意,所以小白的冷言冷語，就照單全收。幸好她是個厚臉的人，雖然沒有台版的苯，所以更合情理, 台版的連police怎樣寫都不懂，真的太不現實了，韓版的是苯在學業，但是她有某程度的聰明，比較現實。很期盼未來的發展。
We still love him because we know who Kim Hyun Joong really is especially the long time fans. We are amused with his acting because we know he has improved a lot and his good looks which never fails to affect us all haha
I am happy that I have learned to ignore and be unaffected by Korean ratings. I believe in the drama so much. I believe that Leader will become better and better. Just read the comments in viikii.net. If some viewers find pity in Ha Ni and the other guy it means that Leader's arrogant and mean character is very good. I am soooo happy haha This is our weapon c:

Agree with Anony@8:58 to toss aside the dismal ratings and netizens bashing (if these people have so much to gripe about MK, why don't they watch something they enjoy ? ) and just simply enjoy the drama, as well as Leader's gorgeousness, the lead couple's chemistry etc. On the whole, the rest of the cast ain't too bad also.
