[Article] Supporting Casts of 'Saving Mrs. Go Bong Shil' Helped Increase Viewership Ratings

Another thank you to tzeyin28 for doing the translation of this article and sharing on her FB fanpage.

I am happy to be reading this as the increase was brought about the supporting casts. The increase may not be that significant to others but for a cable TV network and a new one at that increase in rating regardless how slight it is, is important. For us who follow Kyu Jong, this is a good sign though we all know that his screen time is very very short.

Anyway, I am hoping and wishing that the drama will continue to increase its viewership as I think that drama is quite good. As for Kyu Jong, I am crossing my fingers that after this, he will have a bigger role in his next drama.

TV Chosun cable drama “Saving Mrs. Go Bong Shil” showed a slight increase in viewership rating thanks to the supporting casts’ brilliant acting skills.

According to the research report carried out by the viewership rating agency “AGB Nielsen” on January 16th, “Saving Mrs. Go Bong Shil” that was aired on January 15th achieved a nationwide viewership rating of 0.53%, causing a 0.02% increase in ratings (0.51% on January 14th).

TV Chosun “Saving Mrs. Go Bong Shil” started airing on December 17, 2011 and became a hot topic thanks to Kim Hae Suk and the supporting casts who can act well. Not only did the brilliant supporting casts make the main leads more outstanding, but they also helped make the drama’s ratings rise.

---unrelated parts omitted---

The partners of the idol casts caught the audience’s attention too – SS501’s Kim Kyu Jong and f(x)’s Luna. Kim Kyu Jong plays the role of Niki, a poor guy who wants to be a musical actor and steals Seo In Young’s (Luna) heart away. However, Seo In Young is in a relationship with a rich man named Jae Soo because she needs to help her family financially. It’s going to be very interesting to see what happens when their love for each other starts to grow.

Kyujong-ah!I hope to see him gain more expirience as well as more attention for his acting skills. It's a fact that he can act, so I'm hoping to see him more in the coming episodes (he looks cute with Luna!) and I hope next time I see him on TV is in at least a second lead role!
